The bike actually in really good shape considering how bad the fire was. Actually very minor damage and I did not get burned anywhere.

I am waiting to hear why they only had the one extinguisher on the line but I also know that Scot is a good promotor for flat track races and knows what is needed for safety so i will let him answer these questions f he can.

My Dad was the racer on this bike(in the red and white leathers). What they didn't show was him on the bike when it went up in flames so you can understand just how shotty the announcers comment really was! What is important is that my Dad is o.k. and that beautiful bike started up the next day! LOVE YOU DADDY!

It would have been worth $15 just watch the idiot trying to put out a gas fire with a water fire extinguisher. If he is being paid to work at this track he should be fired for such stupidity or the track should be inspected by OSHA to see if the personel are properly trained. What the announcer said is nothing compared to how they tried to put this fire out.
