  • You do very nice work. Thanks. This is a Fave.

  • im dying to go its my dream

  • You've just convinced me to visit NYC during Christmastime :) Thanks

  • @daveiskelly - NYC during Christmas time is magical!

  • Christmas + New York City = Beautiful moments

  • With the Canon 7D, I have had great results as high as 1600/3200 ISO. But, I am also using Canon L lenses with f/2.8. That makes a big difference. Even my 17-55mm EF-S is "practically" an L lens. That helps keep the image pure and noise down.

  • @photoframd how do you feel the new sigma compares to the canon for the 17-5x mm range?

such a hard decision if getting one 2.8 lens. Would love to get the 24-70 if it were a full frame sensor, would make my life easier lol

  • @isaacgatsios The Canon 24-70mm L is one of my favorite lenses, ut does not have Image Stabilization so its video use is limited. The new Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 and the Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 compare very well. Both are sharp with Fluorite elements and IS. For still photography, they are very close. For video though, the IS on the Canon is better. If you compare my Halloween video (shot with the Canon), you will see a lot of smooth walking with the camera. It truly floats.

  • @photoframd Thanks for the response. I am coming to New York on New Years Eve actually (from Australia) and am going to be going to B&H as the pricing in Australia is ridiculous. $800+ for the 17-50 Tamron with NO VC... just ridiculous

I use a 7d on my channel: "GatsiosProductions"

    Thanks for the help!

  • @isaacgatsios NOT TAMRON! I only recommend the Sigma and Canon lenses! Big difference.

  • @photoframd Ahhk. Thanks Photoframd. I'll keep that in mind.

  • @GatsiosProductions Oops wrong account

  • nice video! wow, you shot at pretty high iso. do you ever have any issues with noise? even at iso as low as 100 i get a lot of noise in my shadows... :(

  • @jaemsvideo If you are getting noise with the 7D at ISO100, there is something wrong with either your camera or lens. All of the lenses used in this video are /2.8 with IS which is important for low-light video (except for some close-ups with the 100-400mm L). You might want to bring your 7D is for repair/cleaning.

  • Thanks, but I still have my 20D ;p

  • Hi

    Love the video !!

I'll swop you for your 7d with my nice 20d if your interested.....

The editing and music just make it seem so magical. In fact I'd like to buy a copy of the music - can you tell me its title please?

    Many thanks

    Regards

    Mike

  • This video is fantastic!

Great use of camera, music and editing - thanks for posting.

  • what was your highest ISO on the outdoor night shots?

  • This video varies between 1600ISO & 3200ISO. Most of the areas were bright enough to use 1600ISO.

  • lens?

  • All Canon IS lenses - 15-55mm f/2.8 EFS, 70-200 f/2.8 L, 100-400mm L.

  • As a Canon 7D user myself, this video is DAZZLING.

  • do u recommend a canon 7d?

  • Absolutely! I have been using the 7D since Sept. 2009 when it was released. It is the best Canon to date!

  • ok i was just wondering cause im trying to save for a hd camcorder.

  • great quality

  • lovely 5*****

  • 5* proper quality

    thanks for this fantastic video

  • love the video...this is what Christmas has turned out to be... sad
