This is my second time watching this, first time commenting, ignoring the reply a couple of seconds ago.

I would love to see other toku that was americanized if you have watched any, like Kamen Rider or the metal heroes shows, if you two are interested you have really good chemistry, your styles mesh well and makes the videos really enjoyable. I know this is a pre-MMPR YCWT but have you thought about a post MMPR one as some things were vastly different in most PR series from the Sentai.

heres hoping your watching Gokaiger only 12 eps in so far but it seems to have a strong start at present plus its a nice look over previous series. Great 2 parter would be nice to see your thoughts on kamen rider past-present if you have opinions on it of course lol

@HitomiNoRyu Well Saban did pitch Jetman before Zyuranger and had no luck, then with Jurassic Park came the boom in interest in dinosaurs and then came Power Rangers, so yeah blame TV networks for not picking up Jetman.

Oh Jesus, I didn't think anything could make 60s Batman look less cheesy by comparison. I was wrong. For me, nonanimated sentai is the most embarassing thing in the world to behold. I'll stick with Go Shogun, Hyaku Jyu Ou Golion (Voltron), & Special Duty Combat Unit Shinesman....& maybe Gatchaman (G-Force/Eagle Gliders).

I believe Rai-Kun belongs to the PsychOtaku. I watched a few of his other videos and Rai-Kun popped up in a few of his other videos. So the battle at the end was like Jew Wario and PsychOtaku teaming up to battle their trouble making secondary characters.

Though Rai-Kun did show up in another Jew Wario vid, the Yokai Dochuki review on TGWTG.

Saban really messed up with buying the foreign rights to not only several shows from Japan, but also elsewhere. For two examples: Hallo Spencer and the Fox Kids version of The Thunderbirds. I first watched "The Hallo Spencer Show", on a then-independent local station, WFLI-TV 53 (now "The CW Chattanooga") back during its "first-run syndication". For the Fox Kids Thunderbirds, it was shortened and dubbed with its music changed. People in Germany and Britain disliked Saban's versions.

Saban was like the early '90s 4Kids. Their first localizations were good, but their later ones started losing popularity. Saban also localized Zyuranger, its successors, Kamen Rider Black (simply Masked Rider), combined three Metal Heroes franchises (Super Machine Man Metalder, Dimensional Warrior Spielban, and Space Sheriff Shaider) to create VR Troopers, and used both, Juukou B-Fighter (first season) and B-Fighter Kabuto (second season) for creating Big Bad Beetleborgs.

Ah yes! I remember some of them because few of them were actually shown in our country - Bioman, Maskman, Turbo Ranger, Fiveman and Jetman. Me and my friend's personal favorite old school Sentai was Jetman because Jet Black was badass! >=D
