Don't know A Perfect Circle, and Woe, Is Me has very good lyrics but not what I would consider great. Not going to say the others aren't fantastic, but Jamie's Elsewhere's lyrics are on a totally different level. It's mainly personal taste, though, I suppose.

Though I don't think anyone realized that the challenge was to find a lyrically better album, not artist. =P

if I have to tell you what a good band is you probably won't get them anyway. But okay i'll play that game.

A band that I listen to that can be considered even remotely 'screamo' are Fall of troy. They are many things, but not generic. Listen to the song ex creations. Their time signatures are fucking amazing. And they don't stick with a 'scream-sing-scream again' formula. They have entire albums that have no screaming at all on them.
