I WAS alive back in "seventy-nine". Well, I can honestly say that, in those days, Robert Palmer was just starting out. He was under they radar - NO ONE HAD HEARD OF HIM.

I hope I didn't affend anyone! Love his music now, but to be honest, back in late 70's or early 80's: he was new, we did not know who he was. No lie.

Palmer, who made his home in Lugano, Switzerland for his last 15 years, died in Paris, France in 2003 of a sudden heart attack at the age of 54. He is interred at the cemetery in Lugano.
