This must be VERY old... You can do this now just by pressing buttons just beside the chat box. Now you can put backgrounds in, use emoticons, change font from 9-22, there's hundreds of colors... These codes used to work on Chatango, but since chatango upgraded all their chatrooms html (the coding shown in the video above) has been disabled as you can now format your text using the options just above the right top corner of the box you type your message in...
