I am also interested in the music. It somehow sounds modern but I don't know. Such a beautiful compilation. I have never been in Spain but, whenever I watch this film, I feel like I was there in my childhood with Ana. I love the peaceful silence in this movie.

This is a marvelous compilation of some of the best scenes ever filmed about childhood. Ana Torrent has the privilege of having been in two brilliant and haunting films about children: "Spirit of the Beehive" and "Raise Ravens" (Cria Cuervos) and her performance there is on par with that of Margaret O'Brien in "Meet me in St. Louis".
