My grandparents leased the land at this sight for years. They owned what was Lake Hill Marina before Russell decided to take the land back and build that large marina where ours used to be. So many good memories, and some sad ones too (when Russell took the land from them).

well now simmer down little buddy. wHat youve got here is a classic case of low water in a part of the lake where it has previously been higher. Thats nOt a comment on your level of ability to think with your brain but a meer way of saying that the water has been highter than it is in the current moment. The cHildren harbor is a place where a man can learn to be a man and then some. How can we argue with that? Now lets just all put our differcenses away and try to get alone withour lives.

I am going to cry!!! how will Lake Martin Recover?? I saw a couple of pics of Kawliga and Children's Harbor in Montgomery Advertiser. OMG!! you can walk to the center island from either side of the kawliga bridge...thanks for posting video. I was looking for pics to show my aunt...this is great! My grandparents had lakehouse there..in Jackson's Gap. I have seen that lake low in the winter...but WOW!!! well maybe someone will go rack up on the lost sunglasses and hats...lol

It's low allright. If we get a normal amount of rain we should be OK. They used to take Lake Martin down like 30 feet back in the day and it used to fill up every spring just fine.
