Yes, the actor how plays the Death is Uwe Kröger. He is germans most known musicalactor. He played the role of the death at the openingshow in vienna 1992 and in Essen. The actor how sings Rudolph is Jesper Tyden. He later played the role of the death in Essen.

I have seen the Musical 3 times and i think that the production of Stuttgart is the best! Sorry, for my bad english but i'm a bavarian boy from germany

That actor(Uwe) is sooooo hot!! And I think I fell in love with him :) I wish I were Elisabeth...

I have seen Japanese versions(Takarazuka, all of five troops) of Elisabeth but all the roles were played by female because Takarazuka is a female-only musical company.

I'm gonna see another Japanese version this month and looking forward to it since men play male roles and women play female roles. So I suppose it will be much more like the original one :)

This musical made wanna learn German, so I hope one day I can understand what is sung in the original play :-) (I actually bought Viennese version DVD, but I haven't watch that yet.)
