Hi Mate....great video...i now want to get into using surf fishing using lures.....but I wouldnt know where to start.....is a there a basic set of lures you would recommend for a beginner? ...thanks in advance
@CIMBOMBOY1 The lures i use work great in American waters, since most of the companies are universal, Since Austrailia has bluefish [tailors], The gotcha plug [bottom left] is like candy to the bluefish. If you decide to use gotcha plugs a small 6 to 7 foot rod with braided line is perfect for the fast rapid jerking motion the angler must achieve to entice a strike. The rattle trap [bottom right] is a great lure for just about anything that swims.
@CIMBOMBOY1 Sorry ran out of room. Anyway, there is no need to add any presentation to the rattle trap it creates presentation just by doing a steady retrieve. Another good lure for bluefish are shiners, shiners are preety much just chunk of shiny metal with a hook attached more or less. Finally perhaps one of the best lures for the surf is the Yo-Zuri minnow, these lures are probably the favorite of most warm water surf fisherman, they create the head shaking presentation by them selfs.
@CIMBOMBOY1 All of these lures work great in my waters, perhaps they would work well in yours, If you have any more questions dont hesitate to ask. tight lines
anybody whos watching this needs to know i will be doing an extention to this and going into more detail about this subject, anybody who wants to know anything leave me a message peace out and tight lines
Can you help me and tell me all the lures name and what company made these lures and thank you for your help nice video
