  • Sorry for your lost

  • thank you for loving and being good to your sweet baby.so sorry, hes in dog heaven playing with all hes freinds sweety.

  • You big jerk, youve got an ex marine crying his eyes out hugging the crap out of my two mastiffs :) I'm so sorry, I has a two year old mastiff die suddenly when I was about 16, I'm 33 now and STILL cry every once in a while for my little girl. I have not cried at any funeral for any of my family members, but I bawl over that little dog...

  • Mastiffs are the greatest dogs in the world. My English Mastiff is the sweetest thing and means everything to me. She's only 2, but so often I think about a day when I'll have to be without her and it hurts just thinking of it. Sorry for your loss!

  • I even had a rowriler he died the day after my moms b-day

My mom told me when she picked me up from school I was in tears he been with me for 81/2 years his name was buck-a-roww

  • He's so smart! He learns everything on like one try! He learned how to shake with his paws today after I simply said the word shake. Then I said it again and tapped his paw. He raised it and took my hand. Then I said shake again. He immediately did it again. He hasn't gone to the bathroom in the house in 7 days. I showed him once not to do that in the house and he hasn't! He's completely won my heart. I love him so much!

  • It's been years since I have had a dog because I was so heartbroken when I had to have my 12 year old Boxer put down after his hips were completely gone. Nothing else to do for him. I cried and still think about him all the time 15 years later! I just got a Dark/Black Brindle Mastiff pup a little over a week ago. WOW watching your video reminds me of how my Crixus acts. Like a clown. He rolls over on his back like that with his teeth and eyes looking all funny just wanting attention.

  • I'm very new to youtube. I'm so sorry for the loss of Max. You're right, they are the greatest breed. I too, lost my mastiff, his name was Magnum and he died on Oct 8, 2006. I had 10 wonderful years with him. I still think of him very often. He was such a clown. I hope you have healed enough to love another dog. I did get another dog but not right away. I waited 2 years and now I have a new clown in my life. A Doberman named Tucker. Just like you Magnum was one of a kind.

  • Its hard to believe thats its been over a year and a half since my dog MAX passed away. Max, daddy loves you, and you will always have a place in my heart forever, and ever. There isnt one day that goes by, that i dont think of you. My baby Max. I love you! Today is April 4th -2011. Just thought i would say hi again, my old friend. UNCLE BRIAN LOVES YOU!

  • God bless

  • Sorry about your dog. Have you got another Mastiff? I am getting a male English Mastiff on the 23rd and I have been doing plenty of research. The wife and I seperated and I told her to take the dogs. I miss them very much(I mean the dogs) however I am excited about the boy I will name him Caeser!

  • Two chinese pugs ruled the roost around here. When my wife and I divorced finances were so my MOM and Grandma move in. My BuddyBear 'BUD' and our punkin 'ELMO' were a year apart. We had to let them go about the same time at the end of 2008 beginning of 2009.

I never had been so close to a pet. I thought I had, but nothing prepared me for losing my BuddyBear, at least he was 16. His health was good until the very end. So we did not watch him suffer. 'My boys' I called them were irreplaceable.

  • I'm afraid when my dog dies (hes not sick or anything) I will cry at school because I cried once at school and looked like a big idiot because if my dog does die I will cry like a idiot everyday because hes my first dog and my best friend

  • Wow...he looked like a very happy dog...and in that vid it looks like you are a very good owner too! gosh the description almost made me cry :'( yea i used to have a cocker spaniel and a San Bernardino..Shadow(spaniel) someone stole him:( thats like if that dog died for me..and my other dog too Cubby(San Bernardino) he ran off cuzz the he somehow opened the gate..:( Hope That You Can Find Another Dog Just Like Max :'D

  • That was one happy dog. I'm sorry he cow

  • im sorry for your loss.. max was a good dog

  • I'm so sorry. I had to put my Mastiff, House, down a year ago and I still cry when I think of him. I've had other dogs pass, but there's just something about Mastiffs that capture your heart like no other. Goodluck with the grief. It sucks....I even got another Mastiff and it helped, but I can tell that House's "spot in my heart" hasn't budged. My new Mastiff has kind of taken 2nd seat, so be sure you wait a while before you get another.

  • Thank you so much for your advice, and your right, my MAX is definatley unreplaceable, he has such a special place in my heart.. Its real tuff...I might get another dog in the future, but not anytime soon.. My Max was one of a kind..alsmost human. Godbless you, sorry for your loss as well.

  • I have a english mastiff female Maggie and Im havingt to put her down due to kidney disease. shes 9 and half years its breaking my heart. I have tried every thing iv fluid theraph

  • @illinoissux1 I wanted to thank you for your post, i cant believe its been over a year now since MAX has passed, and it hasn't got easier for me. I continue to think about him alot. Like i said he was my life. But life does go on. I think maybe this year i might buy another dog, but i dont think it will be a mastiff, because MAX was one of a KIND, he was like SCOOBY DOO in way...He was so kind and gentle. Thanks again, Godbless you!

  • sorry for your lost..i ahd a dog named max who died of a tummer and chushin.

    I really regret this.

This video keep forever Max's memory!

  • I was watching this video thinking 'What a lovely dog', and it wasn't till the end I noticed your description which said he passed away. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I know what it's like, and some people can't understand how much it hurts. You obviously shared some special times together, this is a lovely video to remember him by. Take care.

  • Thank you for your kind words, it means alot to me. Yaah me an Max were very close, i miss him so much...it hurts..

    thanks again!

  • Thanks. Don't worry, I know it hurts like hell at the moment, and it will for a while to come yet, but I promise you, the hurt will fade, and you'll be left with the happy memories over time. Just try to focus on the good times, and forget the sad parts. He is a great dog, and you were lucky to be able to have each other for such a long time. Take care.

  • I am SO sorry for your loss and hope you can feel Max near you in some way, still.

  • thank you so much for your comment, Godbless you! Happy New Year, I love you Max!

  • cool dog!

  • Even one year on we still feel sad about Scruffy but Hen our Mastiff has helped to fill the gap that Scruff left! You will always have good memories of Max.

  • Please see below.

the vet said he had a tumor on his spleen and it had ruptured, we had never felt sadness like it and miss him so much, Scruff was about 9 years old. We now have Henry a Mastiff x whos just turned one and is a great boy!

  • Thank you so much for posting this comment, im very sorry you lost your Dog also, and yes, i had thoughts that it migth have been something i could have done to save him, or help him, bu i know Max loved us, and we loved him so very dearly. I just Miss him so bad, it is so hard to deal with, there isnt a minute of the day that goes b y, that i dont think of MAX.. Godbless you!

  • Its always sad when you lose a loved pet and even harder when you think there might have been some thing you could have done, the same thing happened to us last year when our beautiful Lurcher "Scruffy" became ill over night and died the next morning! He had been a little quiet inthe evening and during the night could not settle in the end we took him into our bed as he was freezing cold, this was the one and only time Scruff slept in our bed! the next morning he collapsed.

  • I have a french Mastiff

  • This Video Is Dedicated To Max. Uncle Brian and Auntie Ana Love you and Miss you baby!

  • Max My baby, Died on DEC 7th 2009. I Love You Max!

  • @michaelmyers23 How old was your lovely dog? And sorry for your loss!
