I think the smart-mobile (dot) com / cydia / is a hoax (perhaps malicious), and that scykei and those that are saying it is working is in on it. If I were you I would install. Nothing happens on 2g iphone running 3.13 with Activate MMS installed.

@carlyxz Well, you add the repo and download "Activate MMS (2G) 3.1.3" and it will prompt you to restart your phone. After restarting, if you have activated your MMS and everything, the MMS option should show up in

Settings > Messages

To send an MMS, just open your default messaging app and you should see the picture button there. :D

Well when I first installed mms2g on my iphone it asked me to re-boot it then it got stuck on apple logo and then turn off, that's why I thought it had bricked my iphone and I would have to completely restore it. When I got home though I reset it a couple of times by pressing the home and power button and voila it worked like a charm.

I would like to confirm that it does not work under AT&T. I believe it's because AT&T is blocking the $20 data/200 txt plan from receiving MMS.

I guess you guys may not realize, but this DOES NOT WORK if you are on AT&T and trying to do this with your 1st Gen Iphone.  THERE IS NO WORK AROUND. You are screwed. I spent hours trying to get this to work on mine, and then dug around a few more hours online, to find out that it ONLY works on a first gen that is NOT with AT&T. Otherwise you are BLOCKED by AT&T from doing this.

You are wrong. Does work with 2g on AT&T. I had it working on my wife phone. however she had the 1500 message plan then the unlimited plan. So as ProGamingTV2 stated it may be an issue with the $20data/200 text plan. But I can confrim this worked on a jailbroken original iphone 2g 3.0 FW not unlocked if that matters Now she had problem with her phone 2g so gave her my 3g and have been jacking with th 2g. I have the $20data/200 text plan and for the last 3 hour have not been able to get work.
