While I respect Ms Johanson for having the gumption to record these videos, her credentials are rather lacking. Simply attending a boarding school is not sufficient for her to be qualified to instruct on formal dining etiquette. Moreover, her instructions are often very incorrect. I would recommend watching Nancy Mitchell's etiquette series on monkeysee. She has 20 years experience with diplomatic protocol/etiquette with the US government. Her series is much better and far more accurate.
OK. She's trying to teach etiquette with that tasteless,gaudy looking t-shirt; and to make it even worse,she's holding that cheap plate with prints on it while talking the entire time! She can teach as much etiquette as a cat could teach a dog how to bark...
I do appreciate the idea of teaching etiquette to others but man oh man! You need to polish yourself first not mention your clothing, hair due and for god's sake get a better plate and never ever use an out door table as your formal dinning example.
To make it short, first work on yourself before getting to teach your crap to others!

Must be the camera. Makes it so that the table is viewed form above and the instructor has to look upward, sometimes higher than the camera.
