What is the "Blondie sound"? I love this stuff. The Killers "Mr. Brightside" seems to take off of the same kind of sound. I can't put my finger on it. Synths droning in the bridge? Specific synth patch? What are the chord progressions/general build? I am really asking for real opinions on what makes "Dreaming" such a good piece. Debbie's hair goes from 'perfect & dry' to 'sweaty and messed up' back and forth several times through this video........ magic! I swear back in 78or 79 I thought Blondie was a British band, because they were touted as #1 in Britain + punk and the style and phrases in this song didn't help.↓
