@borelee1 Hello, yes I do take orders for custom swords. The three shown in this video were made to order for someone. My website is listed at the end of the video if you care to take a look around.
@SaintOLlama Yes I do. A single sword can be between $2000 - $3000. A set of three with scabbards could be up over $7000 and take half a year to complete.
@brotherbanzai well brother seeing your craftsmanship, the works of art( cause i cant call them swords there so much more than that) are worth every penny/cent/etc.
@xxwes997xx Thanks. Something like that takes around 40 - 60 hours, I didn't keep exact track of the time. That's for the original sculpting only, not the molding, reworking the wax, casting, and all that other stuff.
Very impresive craftmanship... one question, I noticed the writing on the sword seem to me elvish, at least I recognized a few letters from the LOTR book,,,is that so?.... what does it read ?.......Thanks
@caibarien71 Thank you. The writing is runic, I don't know if it is a historical form or a modified form as seen in Tolkien's books. The images to be etched were provided to me by the customer. The dagger reads, "strength and honor". The short sword reads, "there is no fear only strength". The large sword reads, "suffer no guilt yee who wield this in the name of odin" an homage to the Conan movie sword.
@TheNativesamurai I learned the lost wax process of casting bronze by working through all the jobs in a bronze foundry over about 7 years. Taught myself how to sculpt. Learned how to make molds and make blades by doing a lot of research and reading.
@shakeval I have a heavy spear on the back burner but other than that, not really. There aren't many limitations on what someone can commission from me though.
@MrGuitarrer Thanks a lot! It's cool that you subscribe but you know I get absolutely nothing out of people subscribing to my vids. Thanks for your appreciation of my work though, it's always nice to know people like what I do.
Very nice work, you are an artist in many different skills.
I love you videos, i just came across them last week or so.

Do you quench it in water?
11marioboots 1 month ago in playlist More videos from brotherbanzai
@11marioboots Water would be too fast a quench to safely use on this type of steel. Most of my blades are 1075 which is oil quenched, I use used ATF.
