I had thoughts in my head of doing my own knife run with commentary. I came upon this run and failed to notice that the difficulty was on professional. There is no way I could stack up to this run, commentary or no with it being on professional.

The ladders on RE4 are such an amazing weapon for Leon. They render you invincible and render the enemies harmless!

if you use a handgun and shoot the barrel hi should change in its second form then go in front of the entrance door and shoot him a few times on its face and he should die

1st form: as shown

2nd form: wait under the low beam nearest the entrance on the right end as you walk in. when he drops next to you run underneath the beam, he will hop along after you. swipe once then repeat. sometimes he will keep turning around in one posn if your alignment is good, then slash him until he drops.

y is mendez hard for people in pro mode with guns? i found him 2 be a little bit 2 easy...shoot him in his spine blow up the barrel next to him that should get him 2 second form then everytime he comes near you shoot him in the face with a shotgun -_- but KNIFING him lol i got this far so far in your challenge havent faced him yet but ima try your trick...looks annoying but looks like it works...good job man

An even easier trick is to use Incenerary Grenades. Along the Village (if you save) there's about 6 or 7. Using these Grenades along with the barrel on the side, you can take him out easily. I never have to use a bullet when I fight him :P.

I did this on normal the other day (PS2). It took me awhile, but I figured out how to do a similar ladder trick (at least on the second part). I'm going to attempt a 0% hit rate game in the near future (on pro of course).

you know what really pissed me off, in resident evil 4 they kept the same knife attack as the old games, oh yea, these zombies cant feel pain so im going to side swipe the skin on their chest and avoid any major organs, how does a special forces member like chris redfield of leon side swipe to attack with a knife? one or two stabs to a throat or through their eyes would kill them easy. i know how to use a knife better, and im still in highschool, anyway, i hope they fix that in resident evil 5

maybe, but thats not the point, do you want to piss them off, or kill them?

That'd be pretty overpowered if you could just stab a Ganado through the eye and kill him instantly. Same goes for if you could shoot anything in the head once and kill it. Yeah, it'd be more realistic but the game would be easy and there'd be no reason to upgrade weapons. So stabbing with the knife to kill them just didn't fit with Capcom's vision of the game, where you CAN kill with the knife, but you'd only want to do so if you run out of ammo.

hey guys...this trick for me never works so if it doesnt work for nu ehres one i found..take ur TMP out and then shoot him in his wiast when eh gets close run between him then go to door and keep shooting him in waist and repeat...and second form i just blew him awayu with my shotgun

I loved Mendez, he was so cool, but after you killed him, the game just didn't stay as interesting as it was in the beginning...still great though, I liked Salazar too, though he was irritating.

Now you make me not wanna play this game anymore....You freaking got this far with only your knife and pistol and you owned Mendez with your knife. I am having trouble defeating him on professional and I am using all my weapons(pistol, shotgun, smg, rifle) The bastard in his second form hits hard as shit. If your health is at 75% he will kill you.

Use the bombs first and blow up the barrel. Use your hand gun and rifle to finish him off. On his second form there are places were he will remain and be unable to hit you. Use the shotgun to kick his ass :P It really really helps if he gets stuck in his second form.

KaiWii, you do an incredible job in these videos, in this one what cues do you use in his first form to know when to climb up the ladder. Sometimes you slash him 3 times, sometimes 1 or none.
