lol aaaah if u take 3vs3 skirmish (offline), it takes like 1 hour for someone to win x.x i have experienced 2 matches and i feel like that time was wasted lol. when i was about to die, they gave up and i could make a new army and it would have lasted longer but i just stopped from attacking and let em destroy my base cause my allies had died lol

Well it's pretty reasonable. There is a Barracks, but not on the field. Once developers learned that headquarters might as well be in orbit to increase saefty for the reserve troops and save suppies, that's what they did.

Why would it be stupid? I gave the best reasons didn't I? By standard and practicality, any Space Marine chapter would reserve most of its forces in orbit. They deploy in small surgical teams to eliminate a very specific target. This isn't the first DoW. Now THAT was kinda stupid. Imagine spending all that resource to deploy a full-blown HQ only to repack and redeploy them again in some other world, or worse lose them to enemy attack. Do you know how expensive a single set of Power Armor is?

how does the usual rts go? you rush and if you win the rush, bye bye enemy base. thats it. amirite? dow2 allows you to enjoy the whole length of the game and focus on combat rather than worrying about your base. play it and then criticize. relic know what they're doing. the original dow had the most realistic bases in any rts. if they decided to cut it, it means theyre up to something good.. which they are
