Who cares? The truth is that it was a right thing to invade Iraq, regardless of what the liberals (and the dems who are trying to push a political agenda for votes, and yet voted for the war themselves) say. Saddamn violated the 1991 gulfwar cease fire dozens of times, by shooting at coalition aircraft, and murdering their own people. Dont forget he violated 13 UN resolutions too! Too bad Clinton didnt have any commonsense, otherwise Bush wouldnt had had to deal with Saddam years latter,
It goes to show now Oct. 28th, 2009 that McCain was of course right. The bozo of course is the ignorant guy elected Obama. Afganistan is now being debated, we need more troops there and all around to protect & preserve the American tradition of always winning.
Obama has turned out to be one of the worst president's we've had so far.
To keep saying " but... we're winning the war" shows the complete and total disconnect from the point. We had bad intelligents that put us in a war we should not have been in in the first place. No one is disputing if we are winning or not? Come on people.. use your brains and think. We can't afford to look like we will run up in peoples countrys all willy nilly with no real concrete proof of being there because it looks bad to the rest of the world. we can't kick the worlds ass ya know. Damn!
What war? The war ended on May 1, 2003. Remember "Mission Accomplished"? We've been occupying Iraq since then. And I hate to break it to you, but you can't win an occupation...
McCain's support of the President on Iraq is the only reason I would vote for him. Failed policies? How long are you people gonna be in denial. The Iraq government is now ready for us to withdraw. We haven't had one incident of a successful terrorist attack since 9/11. Al-Quaeda is missing thousands of Jihadists. Yesterday, Taliban guerillas launched a "successful" attack that killed 9 Americans. How many Taliban died in the attack? 250!!!
