ballet is art. right? my opinion about this version (I saw it entirely performed by viengsay valdes, and I wished to die) is that it's a circus-like parody of a ballet full of feelings, all lost in this stupid technic "virtuosism"(although, trust me, that's not that difficult to make some solèe en pointe en arabesque, but it's simply ugly to see, ungraceful, and...horrible). sorry, it's my though.

Indeed it is an art i respect your opinion , and of course i know is not that difficult , if you are a strong ballerina , but i think you may consider see Rosario Suarez or Alicia Alonso or Aurora Bosch i think all of them have the necessary charisma and interpretation to perform a demon - swan like Odile with the same choreography of this video.

I saw them. sorry I don't like them. as I'm writing (and soon publishing) a large document (effectively a book)on swan lake, I'm wathcing several versions of it. I tried, but I can't agree, just my though, but I don't like this type of dance at all. bye ^__^

Jamás había oído decir que Lorna es fría, me parece sencillamente un comentario de alquien que NO ENTIENDE la danza. Nadie como ella hace el paso de cisne a ser humano y al revés. Nadie da tanto terror como su cisne negro INSUPERABLE. He visto bailar a todas las grandes y puede decir que no hay nadie como ella. Mi marido desde que la conoció no disfruta del Ballet, cada vez que vamos a una representación sin ella, sale y al preguntar ¿que tal? contesta: NO ES LORNA

muchos comentarios sobre las antiguas bailarinas del ballet nacional de cuba. No tuve el privilegio d everlas en la escena pero las he visto a todas en videos, y reconozco lo grandioso de cada una, pero la integralidad de Lorna Feijoo es grandiosa, y quien dice que no es expresiva, señores es poetica, lirica, el arte hecho persona.

durante un largo tiempo me debatí entre mis preferencias por alihaydee y lorna ...ali mas tierna..muy expresiva, exacta sin ser apoteosica pero mas limitada..lorna mas atrevida y sin limitaciones de ningun tipo.apoteosica, unica. ahora me sorprende la pujanza de viengsay valdez. creo q son las mejores del bnc

Lorna es y sera lo mas grande de ese ballet nacional de Cuba. Tuve el privilegio de verla bailar casi todo lo que hizo en la habana y fui invitado a su boda cuando se caso con Nelson. La extrano tanto..... El Lorca ya no era lo mismo..... Ahora mucho peor con esa vulgaridad que reina entre los bailarines.

Ofelia tenía un juanete que metía miedo,y eso deslucía mucho mas su figura. Es verdad que no perdía la punta nunca como no la perdía Alihaydee Carreño que también tenía el mismo problemita ortopedico. Por lo demás son bailarinas excelentes pero su figura no les hubiese permitido llegar a estrellas en ningún sitio...a Lorna si.

albinoluciani1,es cierto que no son comparables pero creo que fue la última gran bailarina que dió el BNC de cualquier manera ¿o quizá Viegsay Valdés? Todas las que mencionas comparten con Lorna la bravura,quizá Dios no le dió la cara mas expresiva del mundo y ahí es donde falla,pero bueno,tampoco le dió Dios a Ofelia la mejor punta...
