I respect Bob's playing/teaching efforts. I'm sure he's a good guy. I just wish more guitarists understood and practiced humility. Mike Stern: most players, me included, couldn't hold a candle to him. Yet Stern's monster talent/ability is only exceeded by how humble he is. Yes, to be successful you must work at promoting yourself (no one else will), but in the end music is about contributing beauty and artistic expression, not about dominance over other players (Bob w/ Coryell @ Regattabar).

I saw them at Johnny D's in March of the following year, was another amazing performance.
