  • Could that be Emilie Autumn in the backround!?!

  • This is an awesome self-lacing video! What a reduction did you achieve here? It seems to me that you had already some problems closing it, because it's so small, and then you reduced by maybe 4-5 inches more? So my guess would be around 5-6 inches in less than two minutes !?! It also appeared to me that you were slightly out of breath in the end :-) The corset is also just wonderful quality. Compliments!

  • you would look better w/ less dark make up and more lighter colors. :-)

  • Where exactly does one measure where their waist is?

  • @GuzuVinushka

The waist is measured at the smallest width of your upper body, usually somewhere just above your belly button.

Try taking a measuring tape and wrap it around your ribbcage, then slowly bring it down untill it stops and you can feel your waist :)

  • thank you so freaking much!!

i lost some weight a while back and my corset is way too loose. Now i can once more enjoy it's lacy goodness! :D

  • I was just wondering if an underbust corset would be appropriate choice if someone wanted to enhance a small bust. I don't know if that made much sense but yeah. If anyone could give me an answer that would be fantastic!

  • @XbabyCCX Well underbusts won't flatten you out like an overbust can (I have the same problem you do lol) but what some girls I know like to do is wear a thickly padded strapless bra under an overbust corset so when they put it on it pushes them up a lot more and does make it look like they are larger in the bust area. I like wearing underbusts more, though. If the underbust goes up to right where the underwire of your bra is, it gives you an extra boost without the padding lol Hope I helped 8)

  • @BleedTheWineUnholy that really has helped me out! Thank you very much! :)

  • @XbabyCCX Glad I could help 8)

  • AN EMILIE AUTUMN FAN :D

i like you! And this tutorial is good :) thank you!

  • Just a bit hard to follow, but that might be because I'm tired.

Anyway, I plan on making a corset dress shirt with sleeves, corset overbust. What sort of fabric and lacing would you suggest? The colors I'm shooting for are blue corset with white sleeves.

  • Thankyou (: this video was recomended to me because i couldn't tie mine up so well xD also a question, my lace is pretty looong so i have trouble tying it up, any suggestions? i usually just tie a little then tuck it under the corset.

  • awesome vid<3

  • @theWifey4u Yes, sometimes corsets do usually come with the strings already in place, but you NEED to loosen them fully and tighten it up every time you wear it. Otherwise, it will be very difficult for you to get in an out of the corset and the chances are you will cause substantial damage to it. Much of the hourglass effect a corset gives is due to the lacing technique

  • @kitkat110595 My Shop is called Black Widow - it's in the stables market, by the arches, near where they sell the food. We mainly deal in "fashion" corsets, which are plastic boned and for a simple black underbust, you are looking at between £25-£35 depending on the shape, fabric etc. There is also a shop nearby called Burleska that sells lots of steel boned ones, suitable for tightlacing, they are more expensive at about £50

  • where is your shop in camden? i live near and i dont like paying shipping =P are the corsets tightlacing quality (steel boning etc?) whats the sort of price you can expect for a simple black underbust? thanks for any help x

  • loving the EA t-shirt/posters :]

  • Deadlygirlz / Jdesign = Much love!!

Great video by the way and working in a corset shop. Jealous much! :)

  • I'm really glad you posted this video to help people with their corsets; it's always nice to come across tutorials of this kind.

I also really like your Emilie Autumn shirt, a lovely match for such a beautiful corset:3

  • i adore your corset...people are so strange when it comes to underbusts they think its an over bust and wonder why their stomach hangs out the bottom haha ....and i think they got the tying bit from emilie autumn she has a video of her tying it in the front...i never understood why though...

  • I don't even wear a corset and this was still really fun to watch.

  • Where did you get your corset?

  • Thank you so much. =)

  • well you look fine, I love and interested in tightlacing more. I think tightlacing will be better for you, you should check my corset video and I would like to hear your comment about it.thank you

  • great video :) (i also love your Emilie Autumn shirt)

  • and I can se you are using the lacing style that are easier to tighten..Anyway who made that corset?, looks good..

  • @nikwalnikwal It's MUCH easier to tighten towards the middle than fastening at the top or bottom - that was also gives you the correct hourglass figure.

The corset is made by Deadlygirlz - they are really high quality and heavy duty - fully boned with spiral steels and lined with very thick leather :)

  • @LuiseLaudanum

thank you for this video. i am about to oder my first corset and was dreading trying to lace it. Now i know how too I'm looking forward to wearing it.

  • @LuiseLaudanum

oh, leather. I thought it look like a pvc or a latex. Well very nice corset, on a very nice girl.

  • @LuiseLaudanum if youre buying a new corset is already laced

  • Well, you never know when it might just come in handy :P

  • Wow. I learnt alittle something today. Although I'm so when I will need to do up my own corset =P
