  • I've always said this. He was his own worst enemy. Watewrgate never had to happen. He was going to win against McGovern anyway. If Watergate doesn't happen, he leaves office in '77 on a very political high note!

  • If you hate Nixon you are a fool and a lemming He was the smartest man we ever had for a president I am sick of this great man being blamed for stuff .

The truth about watergate will never reach anyone unless they do their research.

JFK was A scumbag but nobody cares Bill Clinton too although not on a level with JFK now we got possibly the biggest idiot ever for a president .Larry the cable guy would be be better.Don't bother to send me a negative response .I'm sick to death .

  • i am supposed to go to the nixon library this summer, let's see what happens

  • When mentioning high school, it is true that Pres. Nixon went to Fullerton High--but for only the first 2 yrs. The yearbook(1930) that his picture was in(and also that of his girlfriend)was from Whittier High, in Whittier, where he spent the last two years of h.s. and where the Latin play incident took place. Not sure why such a glaring error that it was implied that Nixon went to Fullerton High all 4 yrs. In fact, the girlfriend he talked about was the Whittier police chief's daughter!

  • a compelling man? I think not. look i think the best thing to do is to look at his career from an objective perspective and admit their were many successes and failures/let downs. His failures were allowing corruption to prevade the U.S government, and then becoming involved in it, as well as the wiretapping of people. his successes were his pragmatic foreign policy, START, his visit to China, and reducing tensions in the cold war.

  • @jamaicanification

    you make me sick!

  • he was as corrupt as most presidents before and after him (Bush). he was just unlucky not to get away with it.

  • Foreign policy superman

  • What a marvelous clip. What a compelling man he was.

  • Richard Nixon has always been one of the few fascinating people I can sit and listen to for hours. It is not surprising why so many people voted for him. I am a big L liberal but there is something about him personally that I admire. Of course he was flawed and unfortunately for him his flaw overtook him in an unlucky conspiratorily way. The absolute assholes he gathered around him, i.e., Eirlichman, Halderman, Mitchel, etc., were his undoing.

  • @Orangutanfriend Dittos I met him he was a great and good man.he came up the hard way.

  • This is a wonderful video. It's touching in a way...

  • Thanks!
