  • Men commit suicide 5 times more than women. I think that's quite the obvious indication that the oppression of men is a much bigger problem than the oppression of women.

  • Women are not objects to be acted upon. They are rational human beings that can choose for themselves, just like men. To say that "women are victims of men in the modern family" is to support this objectified view of women.

  • CONTD

When Prophet , pbuh, sent her invitation, she said,"I am an old woman (Not worthy for you),I have many children (Will be a burden for you )and I am a jealous woman (As you have other wives too )

The Prophet pbuh, said,"If u r old, I am older than u,Children belong to Allah's Prophet, and Allah will remove jealousy from yr heart"

Then she agreed. All his marriages were for political reasons or for strengthening the ties with friends.

  • A good video im impressed. If a women chooses to wear a nijab shes not oppressed, but I think if women are made to then they are.

I guess there is a lot of sexism in the world, especially towards women but i think its largely affected by social attitudes and beliefs and what people are usually brought up to be influenced by.

  • i agree 100%. The beauty pageants always have a swimsuit part because society has decided that a woman's beauty is judged by removal of her clothes. Its not right impressing the youth that its not about how intelligent/successful you are, but instead making sure you have your fat deposits in the right areas of the body.

  • Unfortunetly i have met 3 muslim men who have treated as if im worthless because Im a women. I wont blame the religion as such, but their beliefs of me being inferior to them are wrong. I think its to do with the culture they were brought up in and influenced by.

  • @Florencethomas405 Thank you for actually coming to a logical conclusion! I respect people like you. Also sometimes even culture is only just half of it. Most importantly it's just: bad people are bad people. good people are good people. Regardless of culture or religion bad will be bad and good will be good unless they decide to change on their own.

  • All religions were invented by men and all religions hold women to be inferior. When I was a girl, I was raised as a Catholic. I was forced to cover my head when I went to church. It wasn't a choice by girls and women. It was imposed by the men who ran the church. Religion= male domination.

  • Islam was invented by Allah.(God)

  • yep i dont get why all these non-muslims have this obsession with the hijab & oppression... & they are the people who know nothing about the islamic faith.

& the nuns are oppressed... but by their own choice. celibacy for life - thats crazy.

  • I am a muslim american. I am proud of who I am.

It amazes me how ignorant americans are. Think for yourself, learn for yourself. Learn about other religions and cultures. Stop running your mouth about things you know only by what ths US media/ government wants you to know/ believe. Its so much harder to hate something you know nothing of. Open your minds and hearts, until then, your only oppressing yourself.

  • "I am a muslim american. I am proud of who I am."

"It amazes me how ignorant americans are"

Nice way to talk about yourself

  • '2) close to 1/3 of married women in the US will be beaten by their husband at least once.'

I can guarantee you that in Arab countries this figure is much higher.

  • can you please sight a passage from the quran where it says women must cover themselves from head to toe exposing only their eyes?

  • Muslim women can show their face and hands. Stated in a hadeeth. The covering of everything except the eyes is a part of Islam, but it's not compulsory. They do it because of choice (or in some unfortunate cases, because they are forced to, which is wrong)

  • Thank you.. but with respect, I asked if you can sight a passage from the Quran that says women must cover from head to toe??? nobody is willing to address this.

  • there's no passage in the quran telling women to cover everything except their eyes. The only sources telling us that are prophetic narrations.

  • In the Name of Allah the most Gracious The Most Merciful..

First of all we must read the Quran or check information for yourself not from what you hear and to quote a hadeeth without the proof sometimes can lead us astray. The ayah of the Quran for the women to cover are many ayahs in the Quran in: Surah Al Ahzaab 59 "O prophet ! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw thier Jalabeeb over them."

  • FOLLOWING Islam is a matter of choice, search for the truth and your own interpretation of how you choose to lead your life =) choice is induvidual. human beings have the ability to think.

  • but some girls do wear them becuae they want too but also some girls are made to wear it becuse all muslims men are just perverts !!!!

  • excuse me.. that is a judgment being passed on the countless muslim male population that exist on this planet.. :/

  • This guy is an idiot. Are you telling me that the rate of abuse of women in America or any western country for that matter is the same as Saudi Arabia? Women can't even drives cars or leave the house without a male accompanying them. I think you've lived in the west far too long and you need to visit these places. Either that or get a brain.

  • well the abuse in America is from a dysfunctional family due to incest and psychological environment. In the middle east, some countries actually endore mistreatment of women and fathers impregnate their children to continue the lunatic standards of that country. Here in usa, incest is not all widespread. In middle east and asia, its widespread due to men killing women and girls. They need females to ensure population will not disappear.

  • well said bro, sorry alx but facts sure make you speechless :)

  • yOU'RE LUCKY YOU WERE BORN IN THE WESTERN WORLD IF YOU HAD BEEN BORN IN THE MUSLIM WORLD.

I DON'T KNOW MAN, I THINK THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY STONNED YOU TO DEATH FOR BEING A FAGGOT WITH THICK GIRLISH FUCKING LIPS!!!

  • sir u r mixing personal, cultural and political laws over islam...please watch the video again...the guy is saying not to mix these with islamic teachings

  • Did you know -

Quran 4:34: Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in their sleeping places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.

  • I think you're just brainstorming...and making up false statistics. It's not man vs women or a natural impulse that makes people beat or kill thier wives, mothers and daughters. Any religion or social order that takes away personal choices and rights is simply opressive. You can say anything you like, but it's still physical punishment and possibly death over a dress code violation, which is just stupid. Encourage your traditions, and educate your people. Don't kill them or opress them.

  • some muslim women r oppressed, not all, but some. i've read stories where men kill women in their family for not covering their hair, which is rediculous. a country should not force anything on people like religion. if a women wants to cover her hair it is her choice, and should b her's alone.

  • you have just said it in your own comment its not islam that is forcing anyone to wear a hijab its countrys/cultures! NOT ISLAM!

  • but the men/culture or whatever, r sometimes the ones that forces these women to cover hemselves, or sometimes kill them because they do not, and these men r n ISLAM.

  • That Is Your Misconception! They Are In Islam BUT Are They Practicing Islam NO! If You Read The Quran It Is Clear That No One Can Be Forced To Wear Hijab It Is A CHOICE! If Anyone Is Forced It Is Because Of Culture Not Islam

  • assalamulikum welldone brother! may Allaah reward u ameen.

  • you are right about that mate!! the hijad is a protecttion and it`s beautiful I agree with u but a disagree with u about what u said about sunni and shiite there is a big differets , I am a sunni and we can talk about those anytime

  • uh, you are basing it on their 'hijab law' i'm assuming? you are confusing religion with cultural politics.

like how in america, its wrong to have more than one wife, yet its okay to have girlfriends while married. whats the difference? one is illegal, the other isnt. cultural politics.

    peace be with you.

  • niceeeeeee

    god bless you

    i wish i wear alhijab

  • I am an ex-muslim.

Would you like to debate us ex-muslims?

I am glad I saw the light and I am no longer brainwashed.

  • Long Live America/Israel and Western Civilization

Former PLO terrorist now a christian who now lives in fear of his life from being killed cause of his conversion

Christians have to hide in Muslim countries

    Its Not Your women

BS Muslims women do not have any rights

Nuns choose to wear their covering

This is America not Nazi Islam

Muslim countries do require Muslim women to Sharia Law allows men to beat their women down

American women will shoot muslim dead if they try to opress them

  • ...whose body is only for your eyes, pardon :)

  • i find that very confusing, the ever ongoing discussions about hijab and the islamic headscarf, whether it's religious duty, or based on oppression imposed by men, or of political ideology nature...or or or hmmm, so many version and interpretations about what it's intented to and what not, anybody to finally give an official version!? i thinks that's far from happening , unfortunately

  • well, i hold a doctorate attachments and i wear a hijab. Nobody forced me to but yes my dad did explain why we have to wear hijabs and so i willingly did it at 13.Now, without the hijab, i feel like i am walking naked -- outside home, I mean.

  • "if you go to a catholic church and see nuns covering their head do you think they are oppressed?" YES! YES I DO!

You know that the koran condones the beating of women, right?

  • thats really silly. No one forced those nuns to become nuns first of all, and certainly no one forcedthem to cover their heads. So I think that those who have their own negative perceptions against this are actually opressing the people who wearing the veil willingly

  • You very nicely put together how male domination is different than religion.

  • First of all - your wife is not your woman. She is her own woman.

The very idea that an almighty god creates a man and a woman and then tells her to cover herself up doesn't make sense. In response to hijab: Is it right that women should cover themselves up in order not to be raped by men? Isn't that the MEN's responsibility? Let's say on the day of judgement your god is about to judge a rapist. Let's say the woman he raped was not wearing a hijab - would Allah condemn him or her?

  • If a man still decides to take his feelings of lust furthr even though a woman is wearing the scaf, den the man has failed on his part & will be severely punishd in this world by Islamic law & also in the afterlife. But a woman has done her part, she has coverd, her responsibility has bn enacted. If she were not coverd, both her & THE MAN r 2 blame, but the man wud have say 90% of the blame because he committed the felony. Most ppl hold the wrong idea that in islam d woman is 2 blame completely

  • I agree. Another point is, you can count how many women who expose their bodies are raped as opposited to those who wear accordingly (as how Islam has taught them). In fact, after going through hadith and quran I now come to understand that men is VERY different biologically - I mean their sex drive are much more higher and that's why we women have to cover-up. Some may find this silly but look beyond the act. And guys, you would want a woman whom body is only for your eyes, right?

  • Brunettehoney, it is wrong to blame a woman for being raped when the responsibility of the rapist would be 100% not 90%. no rape victim should be made responsible for what happened, not even by 10%

  • Pls understand that islam is a vry fair religion. It promotes peace and health, its laws are for our own good. We r humans & we r all fallible. der is nothin wrong wit lust as it's embedded in our anatomy but it can also lead to high levels of promiscuity which can ruin a society. U may be the best driver in the world, but you still have to abide by road rules becos it's for the benefit of all. There will always be exceptions in everythng but that doesnt mean we shape our laws according to them

  • "happy and comfortable" ...???!!!!

    is sweat comfortable?

oh, what about women that live in muslim countries and choose not to wear a hijab? maybe they feel comfortable and happy that way...so , why the crowds condemn them?

  • Islamic clothing does not neccessarily have to be uncomfortable. There are a lot of materials and styles that are quite comfortable to wear in any kind of weather. One does not have to walk around in a bikini and underwear to keep cool.

  • Us muslims women wear hijab out of choice, not because we are opressed.

and let me repeat IT IS OUR CHOICE!

If its makes us happy and comfortable, why are people on here complaining.

Do you really think by criticsing Islam or the hijab its actually gonna make a difference.

People dont care about your opinion. I certainly dont! It goes through one ear and out of the other!

just letting you know incase you thnk your rants actually affects us muslims!

  • I like wearing hijab because I feel so confident and also for Allah. If you have self-esteem, image issues the hijab is a miracle, it worked for me. My husband does not beat the crap out of me, lol

  • Thank god someone said it. there is a difference between religion and cualter of a society. look at America (I am an America/CHristian) we have the most aclaimed christisans out there but hardly any of them follow the BIble!! if the would read the Bible in 1st corinthians 11:4-7 it talks about hija and how a woman should wear hijab or brings dihonnor to herself and family!!! SO we are so quick to say muslim femals are so oppressed when in reality they are following the word of Allah!!

  • maja, they want to attack muslim women for our hijab because they are angry they can't judge our body and hair lol. People love to "judge", but we have power and that scares mostly bigots.

  • I agree with you

    hollywoodo =]

  • lol im no muslim but im very happy u stood up for them!

    nice job

let god always be with you.

  • mashAllah brother

  • There are no such things as Nuns in my religion. I am Christian. Not Christian Catholic. My religion combines some of Islam and Catholic.

  • wow! that made me really happy:)

    thanks

    ur awesome!

  • So letting those girls burn to death at their school in Saudi Arabia because they didn't have their hijab on is condoned?

  • Larj where is your proof?

  • well i wear a hijab, scarf, cover, or wateva u wanna call it & i personally dont feel opressed @ ALL...so whoeva has the nerv 2 say dat muslims are opressed...stfu cuz ur probly an ugly bitter soul who doesnt hav any frends...SO HA!!! =]

  • The hijab is awesome. i think its pretty, a very beautiful expression of your faith. but why are you putting these statistics about america here. what about saudi arabia, turkey, jordan, afghanistan..etc. abuse against women isnt confined to one faith or one nation, no matter the laws of the land or the religion. it happens. this sends a mixed message to non'muslim americans who support muslims, abroad and stateside. peace&love

  • i still pray to Allah for u bcoz no matter how harsh u get w/ me...i wouldnt want u 2 face the punishments that r promised for disbelievers...in fact, i wouldnt want my worst enemy to get the lowest level of punishment of hell! i feel sorry 4 u bcoz u r not aware of wut u r heading to!

  • Quran: 2:6 and 2:7---As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe. Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur).

my responsibility as a Muslim was 2 bring u this message, now its up to Allah whether he guides u or not. so i will 'quit shitting around'

enjoy ur life while u can, cuz once ur dead there is nothing but punishment 4 ppl like u

  • yea, i agree with muslimah...i don't see being objectified while wearing nearly nothing as freedom. when i wear hijab, i know people like me for good reasons, and not superficial ones. i have a fair chance at getting the respect that i deserve. when people talk to me, they look at my face and nowhere else. i know some pretty girls who are annoyed at how men treat them and talk about them. women who wear hijab respect themselves too much to subject themselves to such humiliation.

  • you know i find it funny how so many people are so quick to say "oh Muslim women are oppressed" and most of these people haven't even talk to a Muslim woman themselves to find out.

im a Muslim woman and im telling you i am not oppressed. i love my religion and my life. im not forced to the wear the hijab. i choose to the wear the hijab.

  • the 3 religions (Judaism,Christianity and Islam) ask women to cover.

  • read Timithy (2) in the bible . . .

and in the old testament . . it says: "cursed be the man who lets the hair of his woman to be seen" arent they enough to prove that in Judaism and Christianity it is forbidden to the woman to show her hair?

  • oh man.

    this made me happy :]

  • Well, if it is oppressive to women to tell them that they are being modest if they cover themselves, is society not oppressive by enforcing what the ideal woman should look like? Take today's teenagers, for example, skinny jeans and tunics are "in." Girls feel uncomfortable wearing something that has gone out of style. What does this tell us about their self esteem. Their appearance speaks for them as a person. Talk to a hijabi woman and then tell me she is oppressed.

    Peace

  • I guess the point you trying to make is all religions seek to subjugate women. BUT if you look at what feminists actually sought, Islam had granted those rights to women over 1400 years ago. The right to own and sell property INDEPENDENTLY, the right to education, the right to work to name but a few. Husbands can't even leave a mark on their wives Islamically.Men get hammered & beat their wives to a pulp & you worried about women potentially being poked by the equivalent of a toothbrush?

  • "Chaque enfant que l'on enseigne est un homme que l'on gagne."Victor Hugo.

    We lost you!!!

Come on, go learn the true Islam before to say things like this!

  • It should be against the law because as far as I truly know, I've to Islam and back without no negativity and I say as a women that beating a wife in Islam is strictly prohibited. A man who does this is considered cowardly and weak. In Islam if a women gets raped, what I think they are doing now is using DNA tests, and also they shouldn't stone her if they are not 100% sure.

Also, people are not allowed to force anyone into a religion. A woman is not forced to wear a hijab.

  • Why..? doesn't the truth go down your throat? Are you Christian? If so I want to share many facts with u regarding your Religion!

  • Add me as your friend and we can share videos....

  • Islam is forrever and its for all Mamkind! Not for Arabs nor Muslims..Islam is uniqe..Christians are followers of Christ, Buddist are follower of Budda, Jews follow the Judda..But Islam is the word of God which was revealed to our prophet and we follow the word of God..Today Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world! Can you deny that? Look on youtube dear...its the stuff your Goverment won't show u..I suggest you do research properly on Islam before giving half-cooked opinion

  • watch the video '20,000 American convert to Islam a year' Report by NBC. You will find out why people are converting to Islam

  • You talk about equality? When a robber enters your house, will your bf/husband get you to fight the robber because he belives in equality? Men and women are differen physically, emotionaly, pscycologically. But in the west men are competing against each other!..In the west its ok for you to pick and chose by having a different rule for men and women in sports, income etc. women are treated like public properties, woman has no respect, dignity, honour..By the way I am from UK!!

  • God instructs men to be nice to their wives and to treat them well to the best of their ability:

"...And live with them in kindness..." (Quran 4:19)

The Messenger of God said, The most perfect of believers in belief is the best of them in character. The best of you are those who are the best to their women.

  • After the invention of the internet everyone can pretty much look in eachother's back yard, even ideological borders are dwindling. How do you propose to close Pandora's Box? Don't you think that Islam resents the creep of our culture as much as we may resent?

It's really an issue of population, and awareness of global inequity. When the greater population lives outside of the US and Europe, and is growing faster, how would you prevent this osmosis? It's not philosophy, it's pragmatism.

  • I understand the sentiment, but it is a large generalization. There are all sorts of extremists out there. A question worth asking is whether pointing the finger at others whether you judge to be right or wrongly motivated will help a situation at all?

How can we be stronger against extremists of all sorts by changing ourselves? What makes extremists more powerful than non-extremists?

Why can extremists work together, but we cannot? Is belief inherently stronger than non-belief? If so, why?

  • Islaam elevated the status of women 1,400 years ago by giving them the right to divorce, the right to have financial independence and support and the right to be identified as dignified women (Hijab) when in the rest of the world, including Europe, women had no such rights. Women are equal to men in all acts of piety (Quraan 33:32). Islaam allows women to keep their maiden name even after marriage, their earned money and spend it as they wish, and instructs men to be their protectors

  • Young black men also cover their heads and hair with bandanas and caps, and they don't look terribly oppressed to me.

Bikers cover their heads and hair and sometimes their faces, and no one tells them they are oppressed.

Clearly, the way for Muslim women to prove they are not oppressed is to start riding motorcycles?

  • lolz!!!!

  • watch the whole vid.....

  • Assalamu Alaikum hollywood.. thanks for this post. jazakAllah kair

  • Nuns wear a wedding veil and wedding ring as a sign of their 'marriage' to the church even though they are celibate. Nuns aren't hiding their 'modesty' and you cannot compare a wedding veil to hijab - it's an inaccurate analogy. Hijab is about control, when there are no men around, hijab can be taken off that's why wearing hijab is at odds with living in the west.

  • "I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds appropriate for women who profess to worship God." (1 Timothy 2:9

  • nuns cover themselfs to make in known that they submit to God and to preserve thier modesty. the fact that only nuns and priests wear a certain attire is so that others will know that they are considered holy and of high knowledge in the church. this is my conclusion from the research i've done. May Allah forgive me of any wrong i may have stated.

  • You don't know what you're talking about. Nuns live in a convent, there are no men they do not need to protect their modesty. This is typical misinformation which has been propogated by Muslims. Like I said, nuns take part in a wedding ceremony where they wear a wedding veil and a wedding ring to symbolise their 'marriage' to the church. Most nuns don't wear wimples and veils anyway. It's not hijab and certainly isn't worn to protect modesty - it's a wedding veil.

  • there are many places in the bible which instruct women to cover thier head while praying. I'm curious why all christians who claim to follow the bible don't do this? its not my intention to disrespect or debate you sophizzy, this is an honest question. If nuns wear the covering as a wedding veil. then why is it that the type of veil changes with level of profession?

  • Nuns are referred to as Brides of Christ. They are celibate and live away from men. They take a vow of marriage to the church and wear a symbolic wedding veil and wedding ring forever. This is a Catholic ceremony. The rest of us no longer cover our heads why would we? That was thousands of years ago. The west is secular.

  • JESUS (P.B.U.H) SAID IN THE BIBLE......SHAVE OF THE HEADS OFF THE WOMEN WHO DO NOT COVER THEIR HEAD.........howz that??????

  • The West is secular we had an industrial revolution we separated state from religion. We don't take the Bible literally, we take the essence of it. We're not living 2000 years ago we're living now, we don't follow a medieval way of life like Muslims do.

  • sophizzy, Yes we did have a revolution in the west. Now we worship industry, wealth ,and Hollywood. Modern life rejects the idea that anything can be learned by processes other than reasoning. Reason is a state that will have no other Gods before it.

    There is a quote:

"There is always an easy solution to every problem....; neat, plausible and wrong."

    -H. L. Menken

Any virtuous thing given total reign becomes a menace. Reason must be balanced by it's oposite: trust, intuition, and tradition.

  • reason and rationality should never be sacrificed for irrationality or belief based on nothing.

NEVER. Look at you islamic nations they are cesspools.

  • The state's separation from religion has nothing to do with the industrial revolution as such. The constitution of the United States of America was the first document to make this law. Many western countries still have a state church and a monarch who confesses to be Christian, but the West as a whole is much more secular than it used to be, you are right about that.

  • can you show me the verse

  • Find me the book, chapter and verse where it says that please. Your "quote" is at best a terrible and misunderstood paraphrase of Paul. Personally I find it most likely that you have no clue what you are talking about.

  • This is also a very important point. Contrary to popular belief among Muslims, the west is largely secular. Yes the majority of religious people would describe themselves as Christians, and many more would be what one could call "cultural Christians". But most people have learned to despise the evil found in the Bible while embracing its good teachings. This is because we have the freedom to do so, due to the reformation and the renaissance, an experience I hope Islam will soon have.

  • Not many and only one in the new testament. Please understand that the idea of a book completely written by God is an idea the Christians got from Islam with the Qur'an. The new testament was not regarded as speech directly from God's own mouth, but as divinely inspired, which means that the essence of the teachings were from God. It is only in the last 600 years that the Bible is considered THE literal word of God among Christians, and then mainly among Protestants.

  • Great video brother! Yes, go out and ask Muslim women why they wear hijab! I'm a Muslim woman and I love my hijab!

Give your prejudices a black eye :)

  • Thankyou Brother, well put. It is in the Bible and Quran about modesty and what is expected of us.

  • Why don't men have to wear the hijabs? It is unequivocal that women are oppressed in this religion.

  • Men and women are equals and should always show modesty. No one is oppressed in Islam. People oppress, not religion. Men seem to run societies. Women couldn't even vote in the USA a hundred years ago. As men let go of trying to run things, it evens out. When it comes to the Day of Judgement, when the Lord judges us, one gender doesn't have an advantage over another.

    Peace be with you.

  • Men to have to cover their bodies to a certain extent as regulated by Islam. They also have to grow their beards and it is manditory to attend Friday prayer among other things. Men and women are different and they are obligated to do things differently sometimes. It is perfectly natural.

  • Excellent job! You brought up some very interesting points!

  • some idiots just hate islam.

  • Excellent video.

  • Great video.

  • The liberation of western woman is a misnomer. Liberation from conservatism to what ?

Liberated to consumerism that exploits the inner insecturities and anxieties of acceptance. Liberated to consumer culture where marketing indoctrinates the inadequacy of woman. The only way to cure this inadequacy is to consume. Consume what ? Weight loss programs, designer apparel, botox and consultations with plastics surgeons

Spiritual and mental oppression of woman is big business

  • you making some SERIOUSLY good points there man. These things are all just too well implemented in societies where respect for modesty is lost. I'm not saying that it is completely gone but I clearly experience it at many times in the countries I've been (I come from Europe/Netherlands).

  • Masha-Allah

excellent post bruv... we need more like it on da web... may Allah (swt) reward you iA!

    Ws

    Tc

    mf ;p

  • Well said!

  • Well said! Mashallah!

  • i totally agree with u, a woman as any person has to be free of choose what to wear, if muslim woman wanna use hijabs they must be free of do it, i feel sorry for girls in Turkey who wants to wear it and they are not allowed, i never use one cause i'm not muslim, but if i was i would aprecciate it was my decission, see u on youtube

  • i think its stereotype.

muslim women wearing hijab = potential terrorist

im facing it too. its not a nice thing, really.

Thank you for this video. :)

  • Great video!! Thanks for putting these facts out there and letting such important things be known!

  • but if we aren't gonna use them, then why have them? iran doesn't have any nukes, and actually signed on to the nuclear peace agreement unlike israel. instead of just telling north korea to stop nuclear weapons, we need to tell the whole world including israel and ourselves!

  • salam habibi and may peace be upon you too bitch :)

YOU OWN, YOU JUST OWNED ALL THESE AMERICAN HICK BASTARDS!

    i love you.

  • but we cant tell other people to not have nukes when we have a crapload.

the best idea is that we lose all weapons. if we want war, we have to fist fight it out.

    peace be with you.

  • hollywoodo*we have to fist fight it out*

Thats the best idea, I've heard so far.

That could be the true path, to ending Genocide. When will this be??

  • we should start with the nukes...why do we have hundreds of them to begin with? we never want nagasaki or hiroshima to happen again...and if someone uses them against us, would it matter anyways because we'd kill each other off?

    peace be with you.

  • the Quran isn't being manipulated, but rather the political situations are instead.

since the formation of israel by the west on arab lands, forcing the arabs out, there has been political tools to fight back.

now with iraq and afghanistan invaded...there is more political tools. it looks as if there is a war against muslims, even though its more about oil and control. either way, people will die for a cause like oppression.

  • the more we attack countries, the more people will hate us (makes sense right?)...however, if we start HELPING countries that are trying to do right (even if they have no oil/use to us) then we show ourselves as good people instead of bad ones. you and i have no connection with the world, which makes understanding each other so hard! we have to work to make bridges, not burn em!

    Peace be with you.

  • The only reason why we pray behind men in prayer "Salaat" is because we bend over and prostrate many times during prayer, and it's not the most appropriate situation for a man to be behind a woman while she is prostrating in prayer, it's not like sitting or standing during a ceremony like your prayer in Church.

  • what makes you think we need you to speak for us?? I wear the Hijab because it protects me from unwanted attention, I'd rather have men respect me than admire my beauty, my beauty is private, I don't like everyone gazing at me for being beautiful!!

  • I'm a muslim woman, I don't feel oppressed for wearing Hijab, infact that was my choice and my parents have nothing to do with it, I don't even live with them and I wear it proudly I'm living in the States nothing is forcing me to wear it!!

  • we dont need silly symbols to represent equality. remember that america still discriminates (you may not know about it, but ask the jena 6 :)

prayer is between one and God, not men and women.

    Peace be with you.

  • because prostrating women can be distracting to many guys. some mosques have separate rooms for men and women. it just depends where you are.

in the end, it doesnt matter whether you pray in front or back, because praying in itself is whats important rather than where you do it.

  • wow thanks jazakallah khair

  • Prior to the establishment of monotheism people worshiped both goddesses and gods. With the founding of monotheism came the downfall of everything female. Domestic abuse arose from that.

Your statement that religion has nothing to do with domestic abuse is false. It has everything to do with it.

  • can u prove that domestic abuse arose from the founding of monotheism?... I think domestic abuse has been around since humans lived, due to the simple fact that men overall carry more aggression in their expression and are stronger than women.

  • The hijab does not protect women's modesty as you claim because it's a piece of fabric. It isn't magic fabric its just fabric.

Your comparison of nuns to muslim women who wear a hijab doesn't work because nuns choose to make religious service their careers. Muslim girls born into fundamentalist muslim families did not make the choice to wear hijab. They were brainwashed into believing they must wear it. Males in religious service also wear a uniform of sorts.

  • Paaxeno u shud read the translation of the Qur'ran in english and will se the peace and beauty of islam! then u shud run ure mouth like u do! so for the being please shut ure trap :)

    peace be with you

  • jazakallah khayr

  • I dont belive the Hijab is a sigh of oppression on woman.

  • some people don't understand the reason for modesty. in the USA, women are supposed to show off their bodies. the beautiful woman is that with big breasts, and nice legs. we dont see beauty in personalities. a sad fact.

    Peace be with you.

  • I know. It is a sad fact. Peace be with you too.

  • Great video!

    Jazak Allah khair.. :)

  • JAZAK ALLAHU KAIR

  • wa'alaykum asalaam, jazakAllahu khairan

  • there is a huge difference a nun is not your typical member of the Catholic church they have devoted their life to the ministry and are the brides of Christ they do not marry. If I understand correctly the Hijab is required to be warn by all Muslim women

  • the hijab is not required by anybody, but instead is a choice of devotion to God. Some muslim women wear it, some don't, choosing other ways to praise God.

  • Did you even listen to what was said? I think he made the point rather clearly, i.e. it's not required.

  • Just because you friend says something it does not make it so. I have Western friend who have traveled through Muslim countries in the Middle East and it very much was required for those women even though they them selves were not Muslim they had to wear a head scarf. In such a place you can not tell me that any of the Muslim women there had any choice not to where it as most were covered head to foot.

  • Your friend's testimonial has no bearing to the facts. The majority of Muslim women in the world are NOT required to wear Hijab. If you need education, I can gladly provide you with resources. Better yet, why don't YOU visit some countries with substantial or majority Muslim populations - e.g. Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Morocco, Egypt - instead of bearing witness to second hand information from friends and media?

  • Setting up contingencies "In such a place" simply shows you've missed the point and are setting up straw men for debate. Once again, if you would listen to what was said, the STATE may enforce a head covering, but it is NOT a requirement of Islam.

  • it seems that when Muslim is the majority the Hijab becomes a requirement. Islam like all other faiths one day see itself as taking over the world, I'm sure in such a world all women would be destine to be covered head to toe and that would not be a choice. A Muslim women's ability choice has it's roots in Western society where they stand side by side with women who have true freedom

  • Most muslim countries do NOT have a law requiring the hijab. Turkey actually bans it.

You're thoughts about "taking over the world", sounds more of empowerment and control. Islam is not a religion of a group, its a religion of an individual. Islam is total surrender to God by you the individual. Nobody can tell you to practice Islam, because it comes from the heart. This is an essential point in the faith.

  • Any believer in God will go to heaven in Islam, but being labeled Muslim or Christian doesn't take you to heaven, its the total surrender to God that does. Peace be with you.

  • you make it sound great and I know there and wonderful Muslim people but in the UK a person at our church who converted from Islam was murdered by a family member and the missionaries had their apartment bombed, it is was assumed by the same person. You have to admit there is something about it that is very dangerous

  • That's very unfortunate but is not a reflection of Islam. Islam is a religion of peace and does not advocate violence or oppression. Although I do feel it is a womans obligation to cover as a woman who covers, I 100% believe it is a womans right to decide how she will worship God. It sounds great because it is. And our freedoms and privilages as muslim women have nothing to do with the West. It is only with God that we are so fortunate.

  • I do believe that the nuns are oppressed. These women who want to be closer to God must live a life of seclusion and loneliness and never have a husband to be close to God in the Church. In Islam everyone has the opportunity to be close to God in modesty(of this fashion). This is not a commandment of God to be unwed and tortured. It is an invention of man. Same thing for the priests.

  • I think it's very sad this life and believe the church could have suffered less if they did not deny their clergy the God given right. Leaving the doors open for the sins of the flesh. It's unGodly if you ask me.

  • Your belief is very much in line with what i believe too. Peace be to you as well

  • I know there is violence no matter what the faith and it is written clearly in every holy book that killing is wrong unless its clear self defense (which was not the case). Hopefully we can work through the people who have gone astray and be a good example for what God's people should be like :)

    Peace be with you.

  • I agree with you. Good video I am not a muslim but have friends both Muslim and Christian from the middle-east. I wish people would stop judging. If people are so curious go over and vist the middle-east but respect the laws and the culture.

  • Women in Egypt don't cover their hair unless they want to, but in Saudi Arabia, women must cover their head, and both are Muslim countries but the difference is One country choses the Islamic law to be their constitution and law, the other is not doing so, but as ppl visiting those countries we have to respect their law, and if foregin women don't want to cover, they don't have to visit this country.

  • Asalaam good vid bro but it was Bangladesh who had a female president. Pakistan had a female prime minister Benazir Bhutto, not president.

  • Good vid bro. It's good to see you back. Peace.
