Endymion (Ἐνδυμίων, also spelled Endimion) a handsome Aeolian shepherd/hunter, or, even a king who was said to reside at Olympia in Elis.
Selene, the moon, fell madly in love with Endymion.
She asked Endymion's father Zeus to grant him eternal youth so he would never leave her. Zeus commands Hypnos(god of sleep)to make Endymion sleep with eyes open, that Selene can fully admire his face. Selene rests him in a cave: her nightly visits bore fifty daughters called the Menae.
This is just a refresher or for those who want to know who Endymion is thats all...I am 19 years old; I dont think majority of my age group would know any demi-gods; the most popular Olympus god would be Zeus and the other more popular ones like Venus or Mars. One of my college classmates didnt even know who Hermes(Mercury) or Poseidon(Neptune) is!
