Holy shit, at 2:20 when he turns the corner, how fucking scary would it be if like Jason Voorhees was standing like right there hahaha, would make for a good halloween attraction for the neighborhood kids...
Hey home inspector, where I'm from those are called a storm shelter or root cellar because back in the day before all the modern day amenities you would store your food from the garden, because it always stay a constant temp
An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG @ samzurick*dot*com contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers". THANKS!!
that's pretty cool! most of the ones that i've seen were either cinderblock or corrugated steal. all things considered, this one is in remarkably good shape, and whoever built it obviously spent the extra money for "the good stuff".
i'd like to mention one thing though (and it's kinda minor, but...): this is more accurately a "fallout shelter". a true bomb (blast) shelter would be FAR more overbuilt and buried a lot deeper. semantics, i know, but as a Cold War geek, i had to throw it out there.
Finally! Its nice to see a professional use a REAL professional piece of equipment like a modern flashlight instead of the standard D-cell incan. Good on you sir!
@VODZ You just can't beat a LED flashlight with 1000 lumens and rechargeable batteries. I can see everything during my inspections. I bought it from going gear.com . They have an awesome selection of flashlights.
@All4ThePeople I'm not sure how does ties to Obama at all. no part of his administration has any antecedent to war... at least no direct correlation. I'm a republican and I have no idea what your talking about. care to elaborate?
@SgtUnicorn not if they dont know about it, i know in australia if you own the property you also own 30 feet straight down, so i think you can do what you want without causing a safety risk
@askdeinspector It appeared that at one time there was a structure built over this bomb shelter, but only the brick foundation of the structure is still present.
@smh3w We could have used one of these bomb shelters in our own home last week with all the tornado warnings in Atlanta. Tornado sirens were going off all night.
or convert it to a guest room for when the inlaws stay over

Being a government inspector they'll make them fill it in and fine the crap out of them. I would rework the project into something useful!

I wonder if this could be restored and used and if you could keep the water out somehow.

@hrdknox2000 sump pump ;), in a small pit at bottom will take care of that

It might be a good idea when entering confined underground spaces to check the oxygen levels.

It's not a "bomb" shelter....it's a FALLOUT shelter.

Re-advise the home owner to reactivate the Bomb Shelter as they are going to need it real soon! Truth be told.
