My husband has been on Dialysis for nine years. A head nurse almost killed him. She put him on the Dialysis machine when his sugar and blood pressure was very high. If it were not for the "cpack" machine he would be dead. They told us yesterday that the government is making the dialysis centers go back to treatment ten years. I smell a law suit coming on can you dig that.

This chick doesn't know anything about dialysis she was a reuse tech that didn't get proper training that's nobody fault but her, that tube is called a catheter and people is on dialysis until they get a transplant not there whole life get real info before u put sumthing on blast
This lady has no clue about dialysys, considering is your kidneys fail and your don't receive dialysis you will die quickly without it. Dialysis is a life saving machine and I thank God we have it, because I would not be writing this right now without the last 20yrs existing from week to week on the machine. I got to see my one year old daughter grow up and become 18 this year. If I dies today, I would be so grateful I got to watch my daughter grow up.
ok, if you say no to this process, what other option do those patient have? because if you are sayin that this process or this care that sustain people's life is bad, what other option do they have? I pray that everyone that goes/going through this will find peace and those that are well and not going through it will never have cause to go through it....please let's eat healthy and drink a lot of water.................cut down your sugar intake (sodas r 1 cause..cut them out)...
Most of this information is wrong. When a person loses kidney function, then the kidneys no longer eliminate water. This results in fluid retention, and decreased urine output. Blood tests are done twice a month to verify how well dialysis is cleaning the blood. Patients do have to be their own advocates when on dialysis or any other type of medical care.
The level of a person's truth can be determined by their ability to live it, while allowing others to live theirs. These people are telling the truth about this hateful, greedy, mean, evil and dispicable industry, and all of the abuse and excesses that they practice to maximize their profits. Most of what these bastards do is not about the patient. It is about the profits. So for all who accept this as the end all and be all for ESRD, continue on. And let us who don't, seek out our cures.
If We have so Many Technological Advances why hasn't the FDA approved so many meds,or possible cures?They rather do treatment so BIG PHARMACEUTICALS bill the Govt and Kickbacks to all the Politicans,and Lobbyists.It's all about the Greed!The Big U.S.A Greed Machine!..Sadly,the majority of Folks can't accept the Truth,or Don't want to hear/see it.We all need to wake up and make changes.The Billions we waste every year and yet we have so many sick folks,that need so much.Ted Turner gave 1billion.!
For all the individuals,who have no idea the World we live in as I have seen with my very own eyes sadly.You folks,never lived here in Miami Fla,the Medicare/Medical Fraud Capital..I myself suffer from PKD,and most of Family members have PKD,I know PKD,and I know Dialysis and the System.Sadly,this Government Doesn't Give a Crap about it's sick,and low income,or even anyone with a Life Changing illness.Blue Cross,and many find ways not to pay,and Dr's many are Greedy MFrs,.Were not in Mayberry!
i just wonder why the comments are so negative concerning dialysis!? we certainly have a choice regarding our health, but conventonal medicine simply doesnt heal. pharmaceuticals only toxify the body which exacerbates the the symptoms. the body is equipped to to ward off any dis-ease known to man, when holistically nourished. but if one chooses to drug themselbves to death, so be it! tim morrow is a very knowledgable man. people would be wise to take heed! peace
