Lindley-Scott House. Wife and I had our wedding reception there. Built it 1911, nice well preserved place, but not the oldest in Azusa. Great pics! Bridge to nowhere, nice hike. Would be nice to see some older pics if anyones got some Foothill Drive-in, McDonalds on foothill, Brunswick bowling alley, Boys Market, Palafox Bakery, Foothill Dairy, Jc Penney on Foothill Plaza. Maybe someone will post someday. Great post of the Town, Nice Job! BTW had Carmen's for dinner tonight! Nothing Better.
I miss the Drive in :(, Citrus Crossing? BAH! FOOTHILL PLAZA FOREVER!, Carmen's>Tolteca, Zach Attack!, Central... Did it Re-Open yet?, Max's? *spit* SMART CITY GRINDS!, Tulipano... Isn't that next door to that Porn Shop by the 711?, There is actually allot of Azusa corner houses pointing to North East..., Is that a picture of the bridge to nowhere?, 5:59 THAT'S NOT AZUSA AT ALL! That's some city east of here!, RIP Arby's, Yay new Azusa non-broken sign!
@TheMetalWarrior I agree that the Carmen's is better than Tolteca and Max's. And I agree that Max's Sucks big time. Tulipano has some good food nd it doesn't matter where it's located at. lol. The old looking house is supposed to be the oldest house in Azusa. Not too sure if that's true.
I believe the oldest is a house that got converted into a place where they have weddings, Its a huge yellow place across the street from the old drive in. Inside the gate when walking past it, you can see old heaters that were used to keep the oranges from freezing.
Another fun fact. You can tell a house is super old if it has an outside furnace that was used for burning trash... back when that was legal.
