"If you didn't see...ever see Jimi Hendrix perform, y'know, you've just missed it. Sorry, you've missed it. Y'know, I missed Charlie Parker so fuck off, y'know, there's nothing you can do about it".
Just before the start of the Fender Strat Part...they have shown Dick Dale playing at a show...i wanna know that song....i have been searching for it for a long time...
I didn´t get it. Cliff Richards purchased the guitar for Hank to play it, so it wasn´t his? Why Bruce Welch has it? It was lent to him but he never gave it back? Damn.
OH YEEES!, all you puritans are going to hate me; but I don´t think Hendrix was the BEAST guitar player on the rock history; It was one of the greatest; but not THE ONE. I´m just saying
fender and gibson has no rivalry their guitars has always been neck to neck with each other ,i own both of them ,i swear, each has its own function for a particular style and sound period. both of this guitars are a legend and an icon that will stay forever. amen.
@xacti216 I, too, own a stellar example of either of these instruments(as well as a thinline Tele)......they each have their own intrinsic qualities. Some sounds you need a Les Paul for, and some sounds are only gonna come from a Stratocaster(or Tele, or Ricky.....list goes on). The world of modern music is much richer for visionaries such as Leo Fender and Les Paul.
@xacti216 You're absolutely right. When you're dealing with guitars in that league they're all good in their own respect. Different guitars inspire different ideas as well.
OH MY!!!

The Stratocaster demonstrates what humans are meant to find attractive. Smooth curves, a slender neck and makes beautiful sounds.

I´d like to give myself a Strat this Christmas... I don´t deserve it though...
vierdiez 4 months ago
Hank and Bruce must have had a few more Strats, as the ones in the clips have rosewood boards, whereas the guitar that Bruce shows has a maple board.
