  • I've watched this video for the first time! I wonder how John is,and miss him...

  • At least it doesn't sound dated

  • i dont understand where johns input is within this song. its all synthesiser produced. no bassline anywhere so god knows why he was pretending to play the bass in the vid

  • Indeed - was supposed to be Biggles flying chief and the hero's contact in the 1980s.... Sadly this was Peter Cushing's last work as an actor...... anything after this was appearing on chat shows. Plus a bit naughty as Biggles is supposed to be 1915-17 and the film set in 1986 so a bit cruel making Peter play somebody that's must be in their high 80s or 90s....

  • Why is Peter Cushing meandering thru this vid?? I mean, he wasn't a pilot in the show, right? Kind of stoopid to stick him shuffling past ... I think it's a poor use for the ole' gent. Personally.

  • @LWBPCTutor Peter Cushing appears in that movie.

  • A talented musician is hidden in this video. Will you be able to recognize him ?

  • Omg!!John doing this?!!He is awesome God!!congrats!!

  • JOHN DEACON 12 HANDICAPP GOLFER

  • John (L) come back pleasee!! we miss you!!

  • Miss you John!

  • John Deacon is such a dork, but DAMN can he play bass. Gotta love him.

  • WONDERFUL!! :)

  • JOHN DEACON FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love to see you again Deaky!

  • Let's admit it... we all knew John couldn't have NOT played in a band like that ! xD

  • Pamiętam jak na początku lat 90-tych szukałem tego utworu ... ehhhh to były fajne czasy, a teraz wszystko na wyciagnięcie ręki. Mimo wszystko John jest fajnym gościem ... :)

  • Happy belated birthday John...We miss you, take care.

  • This is about as eighties as it gets.

  • aww poor John

  • Nice song!

  • what kind of bass is he playing?? i have never seen one like that.

  • he played is Giffin bass here.

  • Deaky has a knack of playing with African lead singers (Farrokh "Freddie Mercury" Bulsara of Queen, from Zanzibar, Lenny Zakatek of The Immortals, from Pakistan (then known as British India)).

  • Really a lot of examples. He played with a huge amount of african lead singers. But of course you thought it would have been boring to remind all the other tenth of african lead singers with whom Deacon played together.

  • I don't even KNOW the names of the other ones, so calm down.

  • When was this? Was this before Queen? Cause John Deacon was only 18 or 19 when he joined Queen (1970).

  • It was in 1986 :)

  • I love it!!!!! john is a awesome composer and a great musician...*.*

  • They could have also released the same album,"The Cosmos Rocks"(which is a very good album,i don´t care what the critics say)

They are other band, and they could accepted it.Freddie died and John is retired,so its no longer Queen. There are some bands, that without their main voices can be worked again

  • wtf? john is way to good for this!!

  • @0a0xx ... and plus, it sounds too much like "Sussudio" by Phil Collins

  • grande john...ottimo bassista e geniale compositore..scelta giusta quella di disertare la nuova band

  • john deacon poteva continuare con i nuovi Queen e paul rodgers

  • haha nice outfits, John is a killer bas player!!

  • I love Queen with Freddie Mercury and i hate Queen with Paul Rodgers!!!John Deacon made the right choice!!

    paul rodgers+QUEEN=TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 100% agree...

  • John Deacon wishes he could turn back and change his appearance in this video.

  • a shame he didn't go back out w/Queen and Paul Rodgers. Oh well, not like he needs the money!!

  • He still gets the money! That's why the still use the name Queen...

  • Queen + PR = Trash

Deacon was right to abort Queen! :D

  • AMEN.They should call now SMILE instead of Queen.

  • I don´t think so,T.Stafell was the main vocalist of Smile. They should have made a new band with Paul, and they could have played some of Queen´s and Paul´s hits in their first tour, just like they did.

  • Or maybe they should have called it whatever they wanted to call it, it's their band, their name, and no one else's choice but theirs?

  • YOU ARE SO FREAKING RIGHT YOU KNOW? :P

  • Huj'nia jak sqrwysyn.

  • great music video..... -.- haha

  • John is the best bassplayer ever live!!

  • From what year is this?

  • 1986

  • With Queen, or any band else, Deacon rocks!!! Hands down to him!!! :D

  • i'd love to know where you got this from? what a brill group they were, with John Deacon from Queen and Lenny Zakatek from the Alan Parsons Project!

  • reminds me of susudio

  • That was so... EIGHTIES!

  • the deacon is a sex god

  • ahh, don't you know it!

  • jodido bajo esa cancion

  • Drummer...? Why is it that there's a drummer when it sounds as though there's a drum machine being used...lol.

  • several bands seem to do that in the music videos, FYC do it loads.

  • I love Lenny! I wish you could have posted this earlier in the year before I had hell with Ebay. I love this video! Thanks for posting for the sake of other fans.Poor Robert...he gets one good shot. The poor drummer-who is he? Hey..what happened to the ending, my friend? I love Lenny...did I mention that yet?! :D

  • i guess you've heard loads OF Lenny's stuff in The Alan Parsons Project then haven't you?

  • Aguante John Deacon!!! Un capo!!!

  • Deaky rocks
