Thank you for your contribution to my club Paolo but your no Celtic legend that's for sure,they are people like Henrik Larsson,Neil Lennon and Lubo Moravcik!
@CapitalBhoy78 Di-Canio was a celtic legend all right..Have you Panache,good-looks,Mafia connections,side-burns,golden boots,and a sweet left peg? Personality in abundance,a will to win,loyalty to TB..
Now think about it..Paolo was special..Very special..Deal with it. I,m sure there would be more whom would agree with me like....Entertainer par excellance... Just to put the boot in here..First on my teamsheet,bar Larsson.
@FreedomSaoirse What I look like or have going for me is irrelevant as I'm not saying I'm a Celtic legend. Loyalty to TB but not so much for the club as he left in '97.He was a fine player but if he was special, he'd have stuck around for more than 1 year & scored more than 15 goals in 37.He was entertaining but he was also a loser in terms of huns winning 9iar 1996/97. Dunno what you mean, Henrik & Di Canio never played in the same side so are you saying Di Canio is 2nd best Celtic player ever?
Fuck Ci Canio. Great player, yes. He was happy to take a wage increase from the Milan bench then engineered a move at the first opportunity for even more money, when we were facing the unthinkable prospect of 10 in a row. Real Celtic legends are guys like Larsson, McStay, McNeill and McGrain etc. Guys who gave their best years through good times and bad when they could have moved for more money to better leagues, because they knew what it means to be a Celt. Fuck him, fascist pig.
Paolo could have being a great great celtic legend, but why he only stayed for 1 season is beyond me, but hay we got Henrik Larsson to replace him and boy what a replacement, remember 5-1 and the great great 6--2, even better remember a certain Bobby Petta, i got his number on my jearsey and name and that day he mad ricksen crap.
it was quite a tidy wee goal i dinny actully remember di canio playing for celtic but he obv did and from what i heard he sound quite good MOON THE HOOPS ARTUR BORUC THE HOLIE GOALIE :)
HE - as in Di CanIo PERSONALLY - evidently won plenty of accolades and trophies - indeed he even won the FIFA Fair Play Award in 2001! Now if you are saying what did he win with the teams he played with? Then I'd point out a Serie A title with AC Milan in 1996, not to forget a Uefa Cup with Juve in 93. A far from modest trophy cabinet would evidently be needed in the Di Canio household.
Off top of my head in Britain alone he won Sheffield Weds Player of year the season he was there, West Ham player of year (presume more than once), Premiership Goal of Season (that cracker at Upton Park) and Player of the Year the season he was at Celtic.
anyone with 1690 in their name is clearly devoid of any brains so ppl on here should ignore your silly jealous comments.scum dont deserve a reply.take ur 1690 and shove it up your hole ya inbred
he won the uefa cup in 93, serie a in 95-96 ( not to mention being in the CL final same season only losing to ajax) the series of runner up medals and individual honours. so yes I think it's safe to say he has some decent medals at home
still jealous that us fenians are fans of the biggest best and most respected country in the land? aww there there wee man,maybe one day u will stop being scum and support the mighty hoops then u can really say we are the people and mean it
wow celtic cant be beaten unless its with a unfair penalty

The greatest debut I've EVER seen. Killie season ticket holder since 1994/95, but still hold this game as one of my favourite ever moments.
Loved that guy from this moment until a certain goal celebration with Lazio....
