Last comment on Mariah. What I noticed is, she is like a space alien. Something she did 10 or 20 years ago, seems fresh now, even when I hated it then. It's like inside of every person is an awareness of perfection, so that even if critics confuse us today; later we realize greatness (e.g. the "Glitter" soundtrack and "Rainbow" CD).

This was a favorite song of mine. But I agree with Musicbox4Dan, that this album reflected a diminished Mariah. Her voice has lost so much tone by this time. She can sing, but a lot of these songs resort to "humming". Mariah has so much technique she can cheat. Cheating is really the secret of all the great recording artists. So long as the emotion and basic pitch comes out, you can punch in a four minute song even if you can hardly sing. Producers work miracles! Brittany is proof!
