  • lol kane's pyro's didn't go off

  • Oh damn I forgot Undertaker had this theme

  • jhon lurnites or whatever his name is at 2:24

  • 5:02 Looks like Kane started a earthquake.

  • "if austin wants in...he will get in" 0:19 JR true words

  • @NSwisher1572 More like fuck you Linda....

  • I love how Kane and Taker did NOTHING during this assault.

  • man that was so funny lol

  • This is not WWF its WCW

  • This was the WWE title belt for grown men. The belt they've had for the last 6 years looks like some cutesy crap Mattell came up with to sell to little kids. I guess I have to keep in mind that Cena introduced it, who, as The Rock pointed out, gets his wardrobe from Baby Gap.

  • Awesome, but 6:40 fakest punches ever lol

  • Undertaker does need this theme back...awesome theme. They also need to bring back Kim's old movie and theme. Bad ass....If only masked Kane could come back, but I understand why he doesn't.

  • awe poor Vince is hurt haha I love JR

  • This is the Undertaker theme music he needs...not Johnny Cash...or his boring funeral shit...RIP Attitude theme:(

  • 5:51 -6:06 what happend to the voice?

  • @trigger232 Zombonie drove through the audio.

  • Man, Taker's theme right here FTW.

  • i love Jr and King's banter. IS MR. MCMAHON ALRIGHT? IS MR. MCMAHON ALRIGHT?

  • thank you for these uploads man i never was around when this happend now i finally can see these

    thank you

  • 9:17 ☺

  • ROFL at Kane's pyro failing.

"AWW YEAH, AUSTIN GOT MCMAHON!" What a moment.

  • This was literally the First Raw I watched

  • This was a great storyline the wrestlers did their job and the writers did theirs. Vince need to look at this and fuss at the wrestlers and writers and himself say we need to get back to that. Yes ppl this was PG back then. TV14 didnt start towards the end of 2000

  • Austin was clearly appreciative of Stone Cold Night on Raw: look how he affectionately pats Vince on the jaw again and again, as a show of thanks. :-)

  • Austin rides in on a fucking zamboni, rams the ring, tackles Vince, not once but TWICE, kicks and bites at the cops, and the whole time Taker and Kane are just "....whatever." They're just hanging back, watching the whole thing XD

  • Someone else pointed this out in another vid, but Taker really was like a lightning rod for lasers lights back then, wasn't he? There'd always be at least two red dots flitting across his face whenever he came out. Guess people were trying to make him blink or something XD

  • These good old days..

When there were still charismatic superstars and exiting storylines..

Well we got one storyline running right now which promises to be interesting but is in fact only a copy of an older one..

I think Undertaker and Kane will unify again in the end.

  • 5:03 Kane's Flames -----> FAILURE...!!! HAHAHA

  • I admire Taker for the man he is. He never got his titles handed to him. He worked hard for each and every one of them! Kane was the same. I feel that both these two men got cheated too much of their accomplishments compared to others who got their titles handed to them easily.

  • @jeffervescence i couldnt agree more bro

  • How the hell could anyone watch a bunch of washed up wwf has beens on wcw over this.

  • LOL at The Undertaker and Kane just standing there watching Vince get his ass kicked. :-)

  • most memorable stone cold moment ever

  • zamboni 3:16 lof'nl

  • can anyone refresh my memory and tell me the story? stone colds title remake and thath shit....?

  • @KoToCoNDoR well stone cold was in that stage where he just had to fuck with mcmahon so mcmahon had kane and undertaker face austin for the wwf title to screw him out of the title

  • Classic.

  • "I ain't through with you Vince...I ain't through not yet by a long shot!" Stone Cold made good on his promise after that.

  • blaming the fact that today is shit because of PG is just an excuse the fact is todays wwe is shit and wont be good ever again its done.... everyone is like a superhero now john cena sucks ass now he was better when he was a thug characters like austin made the wwe and they dont have them anymore

    TNA FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • those were some crazy ass times but they were fun while they lasted

  • To who ever said the crowd was bored off austin. in the last vid. Why are they chanting his name now? Austin is and always will be a ledgend of the WWF and nobody can stand up to the power he had in the late 90's these days.

  • @Rikkufairyglade who in the fuck would even ponder saying "austin" and "bored" in the same sentence? They need their head examined.

  • @ddrock23 He commented on the first video. Stupid randy/Cena fan most prob.

  • back in my home state michigan

  • austin kicks ass

  • TV PG?

  • @genesisxmode It was PG back in the time the TV-14 ratings came later.

  • 0:50 tvPG if they could make one of the most memorable wwf/e moments in history with pg, then thats not todays problem, its simply the writing

  • love the ministry music

  • lol Kane chilling on the outside while Vince gets his ass whooped.

  • SCSA Really Get Caught By The POlice?

  • no one fears undertaker and kane anymore

  • Comment removed

  • 5:51-6:07 ROFL

  • @ilovemyfamilyg83 yeah I know, everything in that time is win

  • Pyro failed on kane =D

  • @PropheticVoice7

I think it didn't go off because there were too many people in the ring. If you look alot of the Cops were by the ring posts and could of gotten burned

Better safe than get a actor or hell it could be a real cop, either way what you are portraying a Detroit cop. If he got burned, that's a PR nightmare

Good recovery by JR though "Kane is playing some mind games"

    Attitude era FTW

  • That is why JR is the best announcer

  • Cena and Orton and Triple H could not make this much noise with the crowd.

  • Triple H was GREAT in his prime but... it is slowly going away now. Orton is decent. And Cena just plain sucks!

WWE sucks now because of this PG ratings bullshit, the fake ass ECW and the fact that they always RELEASE the GOOD talents that would've got the WWE going again...

  • They couldnt get the reaction combined

  • you got to jail you son of a b*tch!!!!!!!!!

  • Undertaker's best theme

  • lmaoo vince really wanted austin to go to jail and austin had fun kickin his ass

  • epic!

  • late 96-late98 was the best years for the taker

  • This is the greatest verison of The Undertaker...

  • "where's the explosion?" Haha Nice! i too was wondering if there's gonna be any explosion wif all the people in the ring ^_^

  • best kept on ice lol no shit

  • jerry the king lawler was a vince mc'mahon suck up for a long time...

  • WWF was on its knees with lack of talent coming through in 96/97 and they needed a fresh aproach. the attitude era meaning the busisness in general was a grat era meanin WWF EXW WCW thats wha I mean by the greatest era of wrestling. I will say thi time and time again what saved the WWF was the talent the storylines and the ne aproach add the fact the characters were cool or relatable. I mean who in their right mind takes randy orten or john cena seriously

  • really the fact is cena and orten are not in the same league has the big stars of the attitude era, like rock stone cold HBK HHH and DX kurt angle jericho benoit guerero undertaker masked kane. these guys brought diffeent things to the party, like the uniqueness what they had, the storylines and how some of them challenged the main superstars. plus their versitility they were great has heels and they could go has tag team patners and still fans could take them serious has face or heel.

  • But Now, there is no more real talent. John Morrison and Kofi Kingston are exciting.. but they dont have the attitude or the skill to carry the company yet

  • the talent got to draw fans on either a gimmick that the fans can really sink their teethh into or something that grabs the fans attention it is just not doing that today.

  • Yeah. Well morrison and kingston are amazing talent. They just are not getting pushed

  • there are good talents but they are not interesting, look at stone cold the undertaker and masked kane in this vid their unique styles and they drew the fans in back in the attitude era in 98 because they were exciting characters

  • I am not arguing that. I am just saying they are great atheletes but they are in no comparison to the attitude era

  • yea I know that but what draws the fans is personality and charisma wrestling ability is a smal part of what makes a great wrestler, Morrison and Kingston are just not crowd drawers hs the 3 wrestlers we have seen in this vid

  • I couldnt agree more

  • I completely agree. I want to be a fan, but there's no one I want to cheer for.

  • NO ONE YOU WANT TO CHEER FOR?

D: You have lost your way. There is only ONE, you can always cheer for.

He is badass, he is angry, he's scary and creepy, and he is dead. HE IS:

    THE UNDERTAKER! YEAAAAAAAAAH!

  • yeah.

    he kick's everybody's ass.

  • @JasonVoorhees6661

But we can take The Rock, Kane, Undertaker, DX serious as wel?

  • @JasonVoorhees6661 wtf is EXW?! It's ECfuckin'W!!!

  • @friendlyboi069 sorry must have typed so quickly I must have typed a few words wrong arghhhhh

  • thats when the wwf or should i saw wrestling was actually cool

  • "Alright, Alright. I've done it before, I've done it before." "Take his ass to jail! You go to jail you son of a bitch! You go to jail!" LOL! Austin and Mcmahon rule!

  • Long live the WWF era!

  • Even though this Era of the WWF was still my favorite, you have to admit this WWF Attitude era was overrated. WWF Golden Era was in the middle and it was the start of something new. I mean you wouldn't hear one big pop in the WW(E) and don't tell me Jeff Hardy is popular. All three era's from the WWF was popular, no doubt about it. We had more controversial storyline sby 1997-1998, more laid back ones from 1994-1996, and more fun ones from the mid-1980s-1994.

  • na I totaly disagree. the attitude era was not overated. the attitude era was the reason why wrestling went so populer.I loved that time with the over the top violence the sex thegothic style the tag teams the main eventers. the promos you just were so pumped. look at the crowd the grown ups propably enjoyed it more then the kids. it was unpredictable and the good question is could you miss a wwf raw is war because if I missed a wwf raw in the attitude era I would be pissed off.

  • the attitude era was great for the WWF short term. long term it was bad for wrstling in general thats my only critic of the atitude era. heyman is just bitter because of the rise of th attitude era saw ECW sink. the attitude era was the greatest era of wrestling. how many wreslers did fans love that were part of the atitude era. so what if its a rip off ECW, they riped off many things that happens in all types of buisness. do you think the simpson got origonal ideas no they did not.

  • Wait hold up a minute, you're so wrong...again! this has nothing to do with the Simpson's. Pauk Heyman was also mad with WCW and WWF Vince and Eric for stealing his ideas and his wrestlers. Yes Attitude era was Bad for Wrestling, but good for Ratings. Thats the ONLY Reason why the WWF is still here. Because of the "Attitude era". If it wasn't for WCW, we would kinda still be in the New Generation era, then we would kinda have a suckish Attitude era.

  • its called giving a example how everyone steals everyones ideas. the loony toones tom and jerry were one of the first to pioneer violent cartoons. and south park followed suit simpsons also to a lesser digree. thats how buisness works everyone steals everyones idea. monday night wars was wrestlings greatest era because unlike today or other eras you had choice. the attitude era short term was great and the horrible reality is today is the aftermath of how the attitude era blew its compition away

  • what is in the ring at 6:48?

  • Austin on the zamboni is one of the defining moments of the Monday Night War Era in my opinion.

  • No thought about it, And esp. When Undertaker had his VERY FIRST, not in 1999, but in 1998 when He sacrificed Stone Cold to the "Ministry". From that point on, I believe that's where Vince got this idea of "Ministry of Darkness" And BOOOOO Vince of for cutting Kane's theme here!!

  • ZAMBONI 3:16!!!!!

  • that smokin skull belt is bad ass

  • I loved this Kane! A contender for championships rather than a jobber.

  • you don't see the audience throwing stuff in the ring nowadays like what happened at 6:39. I hate to admit it but wrestling in the late 90's were better than now.

  • why do you hate to admit it?

  • because I watch too much rated PG wrestling like the WWE is showing right now. In any case, wrestling in the late 90's is the best.

  • wow I feel sorry for you if you have never seen TV 14 wwe. You missed out big time

  • that's all right. at least I know the truth now...

  • funny that this video posted here is also PG

  • That's not the attitude championship in the glass case...its the one HBK had b4 it changed.

  • Hey XfortyDegrees, I'm a big fan of your storyline episodes. if you can do something for me like trying to find the storylines toward the 16th annual Wrestlemania. With the debut of the Ministry of darkness and the end of it. Thanks.

  • i loved this episode, i had to ask my mom if he was going to jail cause being 11 i though this was real. the zamboni was so awesome, but i loved the beer truck!

  • ah yes... the Kane that actually did damage. I miss the old days.

  • @ZeroAnnihilated before the mask was removed kane kicked ass.

  • Oh, for the days when I thought WWF wrestlers actually spent time in jail during an episode.

  • austin vs rikishi

no holds barred....i genuinely thought austin was in prison for attempted murder

  • Austin on that Zamboni has to be one of the best three moments in Professional Wrestling History

  • One of the best Raw episode ever!!!

  • LOL i loved the way austin just jumped at mcmahon

  • The Rock was between The Nation and The Corporation at this point.

WWF was really taking off at this point. However, as was pointed out by suckyamomma30, this was the height of the Monday Night Wars, WCW still had plenty of juice as well. In fact I was at Nitro in Rochester this very night, I couldn't wait to get home to watch Raw (which I taped). As someone else said this may be one of the more epic Raws of all time.

Man, this was the Golden Age of Professional Wrestling.

  • Lol,it was a bit difficult to take you seriously by naming out suckyamomma30

  • WWE are an expert of executing storylines like this but they are the only game in town and control the market.Until they are threatened they will stay i safe mode and to be honest they are making a healthy profit they dont need to go there.

  • Well WWE or Tna could do storylines like this but neither are willing to take those risks cause they are not needed. This was at the height of the Monday Night War when WCW was really pilling the pressure.

  • back in the day when it was wwf...good times

  • what ever happened to wrestling man

theses were the good old days

    wwf classic

  • Stone cold Stone cold

  • man do i miss the undertakers old theme song

  • yeah i miss "rollin rollin rollin"

  • You're gonna have to fight for it! Love Vince's voice. Classic bad guy.

  • Don't let him in here!

  • LOL! at 9:04 where he says he's done it before.

  • Kane's music was cutted from the beginning. :(

  • whoops anyway. What's next They're gonna talk King into not saying "Puppies" or "Bra & Panties"?

  • J.R. and King have commentated raw forever... i wonder if they miss calling moments like these?

  • I wonder too. I tell U this much I sure as hell

do. Hell Vince needs to stop this limiting words

crap. First they couldn't say the words "belt" & "strap", now they can't even say "Superstar"

or "Sports Entertainment". What's next? They're probably

  • My favorite Jim Ross call, "Austin Got McMahon! Austin Got McMahon!"

  • one of my favorites too!

I miss J.R. screaming and yelling outta control! it's a damn shame how WWE is rite now :(

J.R. knows it; he not the same, in terms of commentating like he used to.....

  • well he does commentate like he used to cuz theres nothing to yell or scream about anymore. Its not Jr's fault, everything sucks now

  • Well said.

  • YOU GO TO JAIL YOU SON OF A BITCH! ROFL

  • lolol best kept on ice:D:D:D

  • wow, that pop when austin came through with the zambonie gave me goosebumsp...just awesome, but sadly we will never see moments like this ever again...

  • The greatesy moment in WWF history right there. Probably the greatest Raw ever as well

  • I totally agree with you. This episode of Raw always stands out more than any I have ever seen

  • Didn't you see the original storyline. Kane has the same powers as his brother Undertaker. (Undertaker being the wiser of the two, that's the only way Taker beats Kane in all their matches.)

  • Rock and HHH were just coming up in the then WWF at the time.HHH was in DX just taking over Shawns old role and Rock was still with the Nation if i remember right. The Steve and Vince feud started first then everyone else was built around it or near it.Nearly every major star was either in DX or the Corporation.

  • no he had the quad tear in 2001 then in 2007

  • it is the attitude belt, it was used within conjuction with the wwf 1999-2004 belt.

then came the wcw belt, when there where two heavyweight titles

  • what i mean is, thats the "new generation" eagle belt used before the attitude belt.

  • your right..its "not" the attitude belt...its the winged eagle belt....the generation before the attitude era.

  • you'll never ever see excitement and electricity like this in the WWE again

  • hows that funny?

  • Where was The Rock and Triple H?

  • Still with DX and the Nation and fueding over the intercontinental championship. Later this year (Survivor Series) Rock propelled to main event status as the "Corporate Champion".

  • Rock was kinf of away from the nation at this point. He was no1 contender for wwf title.

  • im not sure but i think triple h was suffering from his first quad injury im not sure but hey

  • keep watching the rock fights later on that night...

  • look at the inflatable Stone Cold when he attacked Vince. lol

  • I don't like how Jerry lawler isn't supporting the bad guys and HATIN the good guys these days(2007/8).

  • i know it sucks! he was so funny as a heel comentator! i guess you can thank vince and the creative team for that one.

  • I wonder why they decided to put the old WWE Championship belt in that case, rather than use the newly created one?

  • Oh wow that IS the Eagle Wings belt. I dunno, considering that belt was retired after WM 14 earlier that year.

  • they should bring that belt back!! i hate the new one!! its so stupid!! bring back the eagle belt!!

  • You're not lying. The spinning logo one they're using now is downright embarrassing....

  • SCSA YOU SON OF A BITCH,WHOOP VINCES ASS AGAIN MAYBE HE'LL GET SMARTER,AND DO SUMTIN WITH THE WHORE(hhh) AND THE BITCH (cena)

  • i hate when kanes pyro is a dud lol

  • JR did a good job of perserving Kane's character by saying it was some form of mind game, so that less people would suspect it was a dud

  • yeah i know lol but theres a few others when he doesnt like the casket mathch w hbk and taker at royal rumble 98

  • yeah, among others, but well, we gotta consider a second thing as well, ever since Kane's first appearance at badd blood 1997, his pyro was already something difficult to do, more often than not, we'd see 3 corners light up, it took a while before they could get it completely right

  • Actually, what I think happened was that there were so many people in the ring that it would have been too dangerous to do his pyro. It even looks like Vince is trying to signal him that there's no pyro in the corners without breaking character.
