It doesn't matter if it's the 80's or today. You really can't tell Grand Wizard Theodore that because it's a simple juggle that its not a juggle. Yes it has evolved, but beat juggling started with an idea. This is where we begin. DMC 2011 is where we progress.
Throwing a baby scratch into looping does not make beat juggling. Aladdin, coolie, and probably many others, were doing exactly this and more in the 80s, before Steve Dee invented/debuted beat jugging. I'm not fronting, it's just that beat juggling is becoming a lost art as it is, and it doesn't help when a reputable name such as yourselves equate beat juggling with trick mixing.
@Vekked There are things that distinguish beat juggling as it came to be in 1990 from trick mixing that came before it, which aren't demonstrated here. It wasn't just a term arbitrarily coined that year.
