When he died I was 4 years old so to young to remember him and I got to know him when I saw the movie Edward Scissorhands and my parents said "that's Vincent Price and he was the best horror actor there ever was" so I looked him up on youtube and now I'm addicted to his movies and his work. I really wish he still lived

Out of the millions and millions of actors and actresses, I would say without hesitation, Vincent Price is the one who beats all. His performance is outstanding and it always leaves me wanting more. No matter how many new and good actors we manage to find, Vincent shall always be remembered for his brilliance and outstanding determination and achievement. We are all still missing you dearly, but we will keep you alive in all of the work and thoughts we dedicate to you. R.I.P. with much love.

I love the part when the music get s really dramatic when he shows ppl all of his achievements, and lands on Dr. Phibes. Then when it coils to the end of the song and you get his charming in a wicked way laugh... God he's a great actor!

Mr. Price was an actor to could rise above almost any role he took, no mere feat by any stretch of the imagination. I have dozens of his films, there is the occasional so-so film, mostly in the 70's, but even then he was doing his all. Whether in my fav movie of his; Theatre of Blood, or playing a 'beloved' Dr. Phibes or devious Ratigan, Headlining the numerous Corman films or doing voice work, Mr. Price, could bring out the best in the writing while looking like he's enjoying himself.

Vincent Price was such a wonderful actor... he had such a presence. If Vincent Price was in it then you could be assured it would be a great movie. Today's 'Horror' genre is so very distorted... it's nothing but gore. A good Horror film doesn't need that. It just needs that presence- Vincent Price brought that to so many great movies over his lifetime, and though I feel odd for it a lot of the time, not having actually known the man, I miss him terribly...

Vincent Price loved his work and loved doing those "unusual" characters. I remember his films so well and the interviews he did. I'll never forget the interview with Merv Griffin when, being a gormet cook, he and Merv kept tasting the cooking sherry. Needless to say they were a bit out-of-sorts. But Vincent Price never lost his dignity.

That's another thing that adds to his qualities. Many actors/actresses may exude charm and wit when they are playing a role. Vincent had those attributes when being himself.

Funny you should mention his death anniversary. I vividly remember driving home from late shift at work and hearing of his passing on the top-of-the-hour news on the car radio. It cut me to my core, he had been such a staple of my younger years.

He had a class and a dignity that is TOTALLY missing from ANY of today's horror "actors". And I use the word "actors" advisedly.
