He says I don't accept this wording/translation whenever Br. Deedat shows a problem with the bible, then he uses the same bible and says this is true word of God - paradoxical.

Chrisitan friend asks for a contradiction in bible and Br. Deedat quotes a verse from bible which uses the word "God" and the same verse in another version uses "Satan". The Christian disregards it as saying this is an error of translation and not a contradiction.

If the word "Lord" was used instead of "Satan", we could accept translation difference in using "God" and "Lord", but would accept as same core message.

Quran says Jews/Christians (ppl of Book) will go to heaven, and Quran says only Muslims will go to heaven - not a contradiction.

The label "Jew"/"Christian" is just a label; Quran refers not to the entire populations that have these labels, it refers to the subsets of those "labelled-populations" and any other people(s) who "submit to God's will", i.e. follow Islam in essence. The original Jews/Christians did follow Islam in essence, i.e. submitted to the will of God.
