  • I don't mean to nitpick but why did you mount the heatsink on the outside (which seems separate from the mosfet)?

  • @bitsurfer0101 Because it's mechanically desireable and still thermally bonded. This is accepted practice.

  • i just converted my bong into a bubbler

  • Better use for it anyway. Half a lifetime ago I discovered that being straight and thinking clearly is the best high of all. Just wish I had never started down that path in the first place.

  • by the way what is the resonant freakwhency of an 18 plate getup like yours and why cant i take underwater transducers and see if the electrolyte solution likes to disco as the dj beats and mixes in quad or stereo to get those electrons to excite and move faster and while the cell is emitting? what would happen?

  • am now in pursuit of grade 316l steel at .048 thickness at day 6 of cruising the info highway with the turn signal on wearing a hat in a convertible running on rainbows with the green meanie mib in pursuit of my meager assets

  • hey from sc...i consider you the charles fillmore of energy...lol...i gotta good idea...why all the fuss about current...just put 1,2 or three high amp diodes, cheap and dirty in series with the electrodes...that knocks the thermal runaway electron brats (cuts em right off at the knees) ...eh knee voltage.. at .6,1.2 or 1.8 from 13.8 would be 13.2,12.6. and 12 volts supply that backs the nast dreaded knee back in theory...but in practice may mess up efficiency?

  • I love your videos.

    Just a thought...

Was just wondering when you give a bunch of initials, if you could write what they mean on in the about video. Just to make it easier to catch up. I get that this is Pulse Width Modulator (PWM), but in others you have the VSPB Cell etc, and you don't always mention it. I say this from looking at the about text to decide which to watch etc.

  • iv watched two of your videos and learned more about these cells and how i will eventually design mine than i have from any other videos, you describe the components clearly and you dont have southern accent :P

also you use sodium hydroxide for your electrolyte right, where can i find it?

  • I actually use Potassium Hydroxide now, KOH. Got mine from a friend. I have found it online via mail order though.

  • white vinegar is the best i heard

  • Hey ZeroFF,

Nice work! Why don't you look into making them series cells - Less power ,more gas, less heating. Just a thought.

  • Hey zero, Haven't had a chance to watch all your videos but thanks for what you do. Very interesting. What kind of results are you getting with you car? mileage increase? I bought a Magdrive unit recently. Do you have any opinion on those? Thanks -J

  • So what do you have in mind? maybe an AF generator to start with and maybe a small circuit to follow with the selected frequency?

  • Hey Zero,

I hate to move BACK in time, but how do you cut your stainless steel sheets? I picked up some old 304 Stainless Steel Kick panels from the bottom of wood doors quite cheaply.. but I'm not sure the best way to cut them into strips for a vertical cell.. any quick tips.

    Carry on,

  • I always have them cut by my friend at a sheet metal shop on a large hydrolic sheering table.

  • yea i was thinking of that a while ago them kick plates for doors and the ones for your hands cheep steel

  • You really impress me Zero. Again, and always, GREAT WORK! Is it any wonder why I wanted you to build a EFIE for me, and learn from your work?

And, BTW, great job on repairing the mess that Tom at PWMPower made of my PWM. And he has still yet to send the replacement parts!

Anyway, great job and work. 5*

  • You just had to go and try and shame me into building you an EFIE. Didn't you? Sorry bro. My hands are very full.

And Tom is a real P.O.S. I am SOOOOO sorry to anyone who bought ANYTHING from him based on my recommendation.

  • LOL!! NO, not shame you into anything, just showing you the respect you rightfully deserve by saying that "You are the man" that I want to build my electronics after the PWMPower debacle, and your efforts and knowledge is highly respected by me, thats all.

I understand your plate is full, and glad it is for all of us in the HHO community. Breakthroughs are imminent!

Loosen the Noose, one bubble at a time!

  • Hi Zero are you going to incorporate a second gating circuit like Dave Lawtons'? To my believe having read elseware the primary frequency has to be modulated to mimic the effect of the alternator with the gating frequency of the rotor.

  • No. The Lawton methohd of gating frequency bursts is still too crude a method of hitting the mark. It's like trying to grab the brass ring on a merry-go-round. You only get one shot at it per revolution.

  • Looks great!

I need to step to the PWM level and videos like these make it seem possible to make my own and train my eye find useful refuse for parts.

Keep it up! You and others are inspirations to us all!
