  • I came from Pakistan to London and became a better Muslim here. The sad thing is that Muslims are portrayed under such a bad image and I wanted to break the stereotype. Among 650 students at my hostel out of which 90% are non-Muslims voted for me in the elections for the post of International Officer COZ YOU KNOW WHAT THEY JUDGED ME ON THE BASIS AS A GOOD PERSON AND ISLAM MADE ME BREAK 10 YEARS RECORD OF GETTING THE MAXIMUM VOTES. May Allah bless Brother Nouman, he is my role model :)

  • Subhan'Allah...Allahu Akbar, ya Rabi guide us and forgive us and tie our hearts to You even at our worst moments. Ameen. Thuma Ameen.

To forgive at a time of anger? Allahu Akbar. Subhan'Allah I'm just so in love with this, and I hope insha'Allah I can get to this point one day.

  • @flatl1n3 yet we Muslims still forgive you for whatever that you've commented.. :)

  • @farezmasril thats fine, go be muslim somewhere else. This crap is not welcome in America.

  • If you're extreme enough to believe god wants you to have a beard then you're extreme enough to be a jihad terrorist. Beard = terrorist.

  • @flatl1n3 troll!

  • I AM the 1000th Likers ! And im currently angry...

  • @ flat1in3 seriously us this wat ur religion teaches u get a search d truth Muslims r a blessing in America soon you will realise & may Allah b pleased wid u seikh ameen

  • @noonebutallah When muslims say things like "you will soon realize that islam is a blessing in America" it makes me think of 9/11. We don't want your fucking blessing. GO AWAY! It's obvious islam messes up every single country it inhabits.

  • brother if u have a problem dont share it with others cause the truth is ur blinded by ignorrance and u will never understand without allahs mercy

  • @ajlalk yet look at muslim countries, constantly blowing each other up. You're a bunch of primitives with brains drunk on the VMAT2 gene. Civilized people don't need a book and a prophet to tell them common sense rules on how to live your life properly.

  • @flatl1n3 yh funny u say that ever look at ur own ideology and society?

  • @iloveafg123 You probably only know the America on TV. America is AWESOME. I love it here. If you don't like our ideology and society then GET THE FUCK OUT! GO LIVE IN A FUCKED UP MUSLIM COUNTRY AND BLOW YOURSELF UP FOR ALLAH.

  • @flatl1n3 You are SO rude and narrow-minded. I know that probably nothing I can say will change your beliefs, so may God forgive you and guide you to the right path.

  • Your lectures are very nice to listen to - baaraka Allahu feek.

  • subhanallah, what an amazing piece of advice regarding Anger Management

  • very, very good message my dear brother.

  • Im a shia, follower of Allah (swt), The Prophet (saw) and Walliyullah Ali bin Abi Talib (as), the brother of the prophet, appointed by him to lead the ummah. However, I like this speaker, and feel the ahlus sunnah should hold on to him. In this video for example he speaks in a way that all muslims can benefit. Ahsant

  • Controlling anger is one of my weakest points thank you for highlighting this. alhamdulilah.

  • Ya Allah, the knowledge that I gained from watching lectures from nouman ali khan. Masyallah. His knowledge and lectures are beautiful. They even brought me to tears and definitely made me think deeper about Islam. Thank you ya nouman Ali khan for willing to share with us your knowledge and may Allah swt reward you for that. May Allah show us the road to jannah and have faith and strong iman and believe in Him. Amin.

  • I just watched a lecture on respecting our parents, and then there you go emphasising forgiveness within the family. The message is beautiful and crucial to us as Muslims, Syukran brother. First and foremost a reminder to myself, but I will definitely share this with others. Subhanallah.

  • may allah grant nouman ali the highest level of jannah, and may allah give us the same knowledge as him jazakallah khair

  • Nouman. I love your videos. Your message is always crucial to us Muslims at the grassroots level. To anyone reading this please understand that before all else. But brother I have one concern. You translated Mata3 to utility. Since arabic is also my mouther tongue and I've spoken it all my life. I am quite sure that Mata3 means relax/enjoy.. does it not. Such as "Yatamatah" - He relaxes. Nontheless there is always Syntax and Context in Quranic Verses. So please enlighten or correct me inshallah!

  • I like these short videos of quranweekly! They are very consize yet carry a lot of meaning! jazakallah khair !!

  • Jazak Allahu Khair! You've seriously helped me see the light.

  • jazak allahu khayran, beautiful explanation

  • This brother brings me closer to Islam...May Allah (SWT) bless him with great reward :)

  • Jazzakallah, I could just sit hear and listen to you, so true, so beautiful. May Allah guide us and bless us all Ameen.

To the person who put me onto this site, may Allah bless you always, Jazzakallah.

  • MASHALLAH !!!!

  • i am going through the hardest time of my life, i am feeling hopeless, broken hearted, helpless, unfortunate and shattered..

after watching this video a tear just rolled down my cheek and i said to myself that there is someone who will reward me with love and mercy, for the hardest times i have been through and the unjust that was done to me, which is allah.

  • May Allaah make us from those who listen and hear and give us tawfeeq to act upon what we listen and hear. Ameen.

  • @SirAdiib 22 now lol,

  • aSalam al alaykum. Could someone explain to me how he came to the conclusion that everything is connected. jazakallah

  • @0121do1haha sorry only finished watching the video

  • @0121do1haha Shut your trap.

  • Aslamu alaykum brother, please if you're reading this come to the ottawa islamic school in ottawa,on inshallah please :)

  • i dont understand one thing in this video the last verse he discusses in this, verse 40 of ash-shuraa stating that evil act can be payed back with evil act doesnt seem to be much sensible.....coz as far as i understood of how much ever i read quran.it says that a person doing an evil act should be realized that what he is doing is wrong and doing that is mandatory to make him realize even in doing so it has to be physical. as far as revenge is concerned i dont think it is permitted in islam.

  • Assalamualaikum , Allah bless Nouman Ali Khan and increase his knowledge, I am out of words, the verses NAK recites lays on me like a ton of bricks , cuz I just had that experience(lost my patience) and the reason was what Allah has revealed in his brilliant mighty book .. Allahu Akbar ..

  • MashaAllah, good video and very good points, barakAllahofik!

  • i really hope that Brother Nouman Ali Khan can come to Malaysia. Hope that his speech can change the mind of my generation muslim , insya'Allah :) Salam

  • India Needs His lectures " Desi Guys" I , My Brothers and My sisters are Stuck in Bidaats and Major Sins

  • I am usually a very calm, mild tempered and softly spoken person. However when something makes me angry, I literally start to burn and shake. I never knew why or how to control it, and would always regret my words/actions. Thank you for this simple reminder, and allowing me to understand how all our actions are related. May The Merciful reward you InshAllah.

  • please do a quran weekly on backbiting/gossip .

  • Mash'Allah. SO much beautiful knowledge. May Allah bless him.

ahah- i find it hilarious how in every video he says "I'll try to make this short" but they all end up lasting about 9 minutes and 30 seconds. :)

  • These words made me cry, oh allah, thank you for everything you have given me, thank you quranweekly, may allah reward you

  • SubhanAllah!! SubhanAllah!!!

I am a very angry person...but after listening to this video it brought tears to my ears...Islam is so beautiful...it has solution for all major n minor issues in life...

  • Splendid!

  • Assalamu Alaikom! I am a recent(well fairly recent) American Convert and I was wondering if you (or anyone on this thread) would kindly give me a quick break down on what are considered "major" sins. Thank you for your great videos. May Allah (subhannah wah ta'allah) bless you for sharing your knowledge.

  • @sylviat87

Prophet mohammed (PBUH) said there are 7 deadly sins “To join partners in worship along with Allah; to practice sorcery; to kill a person which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause (according to Islamic law); to eat up riba (usury), to eat up an orphan’s property; to show one’s back to the enemy and fleeing from the battlefield at the time of fighting; and to accuse chaste women who never even think of anything touching their chastity and are good believers."

  • 10 people don't want reward from Allah.

  • @NDayatida read the whole story before assuming anything about "anger control".Ppl like u will take ANY word or story and pose it as a threat adn bad thing about islam. But I don't blame u.Even muslims fail to see and do things that we are suppose to do.So I understand the concept behind YOUR ignorance. Either do research a lot, talk to professors on this field who spent 20-30 yrs studying islam, ask logically to urself what u learned and its meaning, THEN come back and reply.it's easy to bark.

  • There is nothing worthy of worship except GOD alone, and Muhammad is his messenger and servant

  • MashaAllah! SubhanAllah! Really really nice.

  • During one of the islamic jihad, on the battlefield a kafir person was fighting Hz. Ali (Ra).During the fight, he spit on Ali (Ra).In response he let the man walk away without any harm. When other sahabis asked him why he did that, he said, when the man spit on him, he got very angry. But if he killed the man, that would be his own reason(anger) to kill him.It would not be killing for Allah. Thus he let the man go at that time.A great example of how precise and subtle their belief was back than.

  • @mindsoulbody clearly not if everybody else had to ask why the man was allowed to walk away

  • As Salaamu Alakum brother Nouman, very nice video, however don't you think whatever is in the hereafter is ETERNAL and not longer lasting...?

  • MashaAllah brother MashaAllah. May Allah(swt) keep you safe and in good health. You knowledge has helped so many. I am grateful for your lectures.

  • subhanallah......may allah grant me the ability to forgive others n rest it on allah swt

  • excellent nouman bhai.

  • Great man. People like him make me stronger as a Muslim and a human being.

  • @pebblesandwaves Same, I love him for the sake of Allah(swt) :D

  • mashaAllah. I am really mad with myself for not discovering vids from QuranWeekly earlier. I just found it and I feel like I want to be better each and everyday as muslim. Subhanallah. May Allah bless him and also QuranWeekly. Keep spreading Islam. Its a good 'food' for muslims' soul and also non-muslims who watch it =)

  • Amazing. Mashallah. May Allah reward him.

  • Love this video. I always come back to it when I get angry. For me though, internal anger is much much harder to put out than temptation. Alhamdulilah Im not one to outwardly show angry feelings. Also, it is especially harder to forgive family (parents included). May Allah make us of those who are able to forgive and forget easily Ameen. Keep up the GREAT work brother, I hope you realize that it is greatly appreciated, muchos dua coming your way!

  • jazakullah khair brother nouman, i love you for the sake of allah brother, may allah guide us to the seratul mustaqeem and grant us jannatul ferdous. aameen

  • @flatl1n3 Why would you be sitting her watching this video and commenting on it when your so hateful to Muslims? You know what you should keep watching these vids and maybe something might hit you and you may realize how beautiful this religion is!

  • @arsalan12329 It is my mission to drive every single muslim out of this country through intolerance and hate. If you want to live in a muslim society then go to Saudi Arabia. This is a Judeo/Christian nation. You will never be accepted here, always ridiculed and persecuted. Italians, Germans, French immigrants all renounced their old world culture in favor of American culture. If you want to renounce your ancient, deluded, backward culture then you're welcome to stay.

  • @arsalan12329 if islam is so beautiful why are all the countries with majority muslims so horrid? Go to one of those countries if you like islam.

  • cause ur fuckin people are the fuckin problem

  • @flatl1n3 your benightedness, blindness, callowness, lack of education, naivete, unintelligence, and mental incapacity baffles me. Dont you find it hilarious how idiotic, meaningless, and shortsighted your comment seems when you re-read it? The only thing that is inconsequential in your little narrow minded world is that so called insufficient waste of space you call a "brain" keeping your redneck, worthless, honky a** below the poverty line while we thrive in ways......

  • @adnan790 lol i make 100K+ a year, own 3 cars, have a gorgeous Danish wife and a beautiful house in the country. AND WE DONT WANT ANY DELUSIONAL MOON WORSHIPERS BUILDING CULT TEMPLES NEAR US!

  • @flatl1n3 what are you doing here? how lonely are you that u watch this video then comment on it. something u hate wow talk about wasting your time. go to search button then click beautiful houses that will make u happy loser. May Allah guide us all. ameen

  • @flatl1n3 than your frivolous mind can imagine. Go read a book and learn something. Make yourself useful to this world instead of aimlessly wandering this earth like a juvenile inbreed re-tard.

  • @adnan790 Go marry a 9 year old. Go blow yourself up and get your 72 virgins. Go worship a meteorite. Go worship the moon. YOU AND YOUR RELIGION ARE A DELUSIONAL CULT.

  • @flatl1n3 why do you even care? Nah...I dun care bout ur answer...Dun bother replying. Go away.

  • @mundane90 Why do I care? I care because you muslims are trying to overtake the world with this delusional thinking. RIght now you are at .6%. When your population gets to 2% the demands on MY culture will begin. I will fight you at every turn. My brothers will fight you. You will NEVER be successful in America. Go back to your 3rd world shithole countries if you want to worship the moon. YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IN THE USA.

  • @flatl1n3

you have some serious issues to deal with my friend

  • @chaosbringer127 go be muslim somewhere else.

  • Comment removed

  • @mundane90 Sigh. Delusional? Look who's talking...lol Chill yo, no need to get all worked up. 1st world, 3rd world, what's the difference. Same problems, here and there. You have corporate greed, we have corrupted leaders. Patience my friend. Your anger only blinds you. Look, listen and reflect. Don't be afraid. =)

  • @mundane90 What part of "you're not fucking welcome in America" don't you understand. As far as I'm concerned every one of you who doesn't renounce this delusional cult is a 9/11 sympathizer. GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE USA TERRORISTS.

  • @flatl1n3 wut do u get out of writing comments like this?? money? confidence? a few inches down there?? seriously wut do u get??

  • @anas676 I am letting a large English speaking muslim audience know exactly where most Americans stand on the issue of islam. Your delusional moon cult is not welcome in this country. We defeated the communists and will defeat you too.

  • @flatl1n3 by most americans, u mean the overwhelming population that have a double digit IQ that reside in the red states??, cuz thats LITERALLY what it means

  • hes gta nice voyce and mentality

  • I swear by Allah that I love you brother Nouman may Allah bless you.

  • Mashaa ALLAH may ALLAH bless you , it's really amzing. i am one of the people that hardly control their anger but i swear that i will control my anger. it is amazing

  • can i ask question ?

what if i was to get my @ss handed to me on the street, or if i was getting robbed...

would it be allowed to fight back - protect my health or my possessions. or will the stuff you mentioned in the video - about not reacting the same way and to forgive also be in effect at such a time ?

    jazakallah

  • I think the surah reference is not correct

  • @Umarfablez

Assalamu'alaykum brother. i believe that the surah reference is correct. At first I got confused as well coz there are 2 surahs titles that sounded almost the same. There's another surah named Asy-Syu'araa', the 26th surah in Quran. The surah that is mentioned in this video is surah Ash-Syuura, the 42nd surah in Quran. Hope this helps. =)

  • SubhanAllah this really spoke to me. JazakAllah Khair.

  • Masha Allah

  • MahaAllah!

  • Subhaan'Allaah!

  • JazakaAllah khair. Love u brother for this astonishing piece of naseeha. May Allah give u the rewards in multiple. Summa ameen.

  • Asalaamoe a3alaikum

I want to translate this video to my own language, for friends who don't understand english.

Is it oké to do so?

  • Allah says that people who really trust Allah and who prefer next life (heaven) learn to forgive when you are REALLY angry (BEAUTIFUL TEACHING) MashAllah .....

  • In Islam we must admit and approve the right for secular life, because what we all Muslims do is not secular, it is spiritual and religious, all Muslims are divine so what is difference then having Imams,Mosques or not having at all since we can teach each other, or our life is already divine but may be not perfect. If we admit and approve separation of secular and spiritual life, we have where to go for our pray, learn and ask forgiveness. Then we will have reason to have Imams for guiding.

  • You can't find peaceful dialogue among Muslims. Everybody is right, all are perfect Muslims, but why we need to be like that? If I do all duties of Muslims praying 5 times, giving zakat going to Haj, then why still Imams get to be so divine? Because they know better or more? So, if they know better or more, does it mean that they have to be respected for knowing Allah and Quran other than ordinary Muslims? I agree to have Imams and Mosques only if we separate secular and spiritual life.

  • @jokerman555555

Peace be with you brother! :)

"All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood."

-taken from the last sermon of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)

  • @jokerman555555

Islam is indeed very beautiful and teaches love and respect for all people!

An Imaam is one who leads the congregation in Salaah (prayer). The Imaam is usually the one who knows the most amount of Qur'anic verses within the congregation. Also, if an Imaam is an Aalim (those who do in depth studies of Islam), he can address any issues/concerns that people may have regarding Islam. An Imaam may be more knowledgeable than some Muslims but it does not make them better than anyone.

  • @jokerman555555

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was and still is the most knowledgeable Imaam on Earth yet despite his vast knowledge, he was the humblest of the humble! His abode was simple, his modesty was beyond amazing, his character was impeccable and he was known for his trustworthiness, kindness and welcoming smile. He never tried to prove his superiority over anyone nor did he degrade women. May Allaah bless him with peace and happiness for eternity, Ameen!

  • Separation of secular and spiritual life is important, but there is no one source of solution. Each country where Muslims are majority aims to make their own decision on how to deal with certain issues. Since each Muslim country has own right to apply Quran and Hadith, definitely there is no universal accepted solution. Now imagine that while Imams are themselves in trouble to find a certain agreed solutions, ordinary Muslims also become confused. Check out any forums dedicated on Islam where

  • Islam is the religion, system of life for Muslims, but it does not differentiate between Muslims and those Imams who serves in Mosque. Christianity was the same centuries ago, but it has changed to sinners (Christians) who come to pray but separated from church and those reverends, clergy in Church. This separation only had led people to realize secular life within Enlightenment which without it no innovation could come true. But in Islam such separation did not happen.

  • I certainly care about Islam, it is beautiful and everything bounded with it is beautiful. I don't intent to question this religion, but I care how the quality of it has been changing since the community of Islam is widening. Globalization, Integration and Modernization of this world is endemic but how about Islam. Quran is the same, but since Quran has been received, Muslims are in different groups, in different countries and in different perceptions. Quran is the same but Islam is not.

  • @Joker If you seek to understand more, do seek a more knowledgeable source. If you wish to criticize without the intention of understanding, then you are just wasting time.

Insyallah, if i am wrong, I pray that Allah forgive me and that other brothers and sisters may provide you with better wisdom. Insyallah.

    Peace be upon you.

  • @Joker Brother Naoman is doing what I've said above which is to remind and we can either accept, reject or discuss the subject presented but the judgement is reserved for God. Thirdly, Subhannallah God is great. Islam is an institution. It is a place for society to be its best, as a place for scholars and academics, to learn about things such as controlling anger, managing finances, finding your soul.

  • @Joker

So from here we can see that the basic principle of the Quran is reminders through a mutual teaching. God does not specify a place because a place may be temporary but , you have a point that one needs to seek advice from someone else, but in Islam it can be anywhere but with the right educated people or even books i.e. yourself. Secondly, it is God's right to judge a man's intention and not another man.

  • @Joker Peace be upon you.

Firstly, one needs to understand the principle of Islam. The Quran and Hadeeth, words of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh, are forms of reminders to Mankind. And to quote a chapter or surah from yhe Quran, Chapter 103 Al-Asr:

"By time, Verily Man is in a loss, Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy."

So from here we can see that the basic principle of the Quran is reminders thr

  • I don't know how to put these Islamic teachers in to Mosques where people would go if they need those advises and suggestions when they feel to hear something that Islam would give proper answer. Thats what Christianity does, this how it should be. Why Islam had to involve and order everybody to pursue certain rules and those rules are given by anybody who starts reading Quran and quoting from it. It is disrespect to religion. Muslims have to learn how to institutionalize and represent.

  • What do you think what is your role in this life if you know Islam better than others, if you read Qur'an, if you give comments spread wisdom of Islam to other Muslims? Does it make you better Muslim? Does it make you men of Jannah? The difference of Islam and Christianity is that Islam did not develop itself well enough. In Christianity those who consider themselves strongly attached to the God goes to the Church and serves there without intervening others' life. That is what you should do!

  • @jokerman555555 I don't see what Muslims are doing as intervening others' life except they themselves who are interested to know about Islam.

In what sense you think muslims are intervening your life? or ordering to follow certain orders?

  • Jazakallah Khair for sharing....always a good reminder

  • @NoumanAliKhan100 Assalamualaykum, I have a doubt. Are all the speakers always male kind? Are there any female speakers like you all, or is it not allowed for women to be speakers like you all are? I am sorry, I just wanted to clarify this. Could you please enlighten me on this? And by the way, you are a great speaker, MashaAllah, if this is really your id. :) Please reply to my query. AllahHafiz

  • @99398ABC no brother...there are female speakers too....in youtube i think you can find a few..but most of them are not put in video.... some time ago in my vilage there was a woman who teach us like that....and she goes from place to place.. peace be with you
