  • Good Vid and the story bro like the way you roll and I'm glad to know that you home boy VA

  • Lets see Im 22... Ive seen bufflo flip a car with people in it.. Ive seen bears ripe appart a cmap site and a car for food.. Ive been stocked by a mountain lion as a child it was missing an eye and my grandmother shot it since we were close to the house It was getting ready to attack we made our self bigger to scare it off.. Ive seen my dad being chased by an elk because he walked around a corner to close to a baby and it charged him (he didnt know it was there) Things happen

  • This was very strange. I've gone many years without any animal incidents of any concern. Now during a 3 day trip in the woods, I have had 2 encounters with 2 different animals. The animals here must be getting more and more used to people, and that's not a good thing for the people or the animals... It's kind of funny, though. I can't get within 100 yards from a bear during bear season, but he was trying to sneak up on me during the off-season LOL.

  • Here's an update that I forgot to add to the video: 2 nights later, in the same campsite, I had another encounter but this time it was a bear who was circling my site and closing in despite my yelling at it and shining my flashlight on it. I was able to verify (by frs radio) that my buddy and his family where accounted for in their home, and I fired 2 rounds from my pistol at the animal but missed., and he continued to come toward me. I retrieved my rifle and when I turned around, he was gone.

  • And in Brazil, we arent allowed to hunt or carry any fire wepons, unless your a cop- Im an english teacher :) So I can forget about having a fire gun! Too bad Im not american!! But great vid bro and keep sending them! God bless you guys!

  • Bro here in Brazil we got all kinds of spookie creatures, but luckly(?) for me, in my state the rain forest aint as big and diverse as the amazon, so we dont have many jaguars or leopards as the ones in the amazon forest. We got some cats but they arent as agressive though. We got plenty of snakes and poisonous spiders which are active all year long, so those are some of the natural threats we got in my area of operation. The real danger though is the men like you wisely said.

  • awesome thanks.

  • Very good video Glad you pointed out whats behined your target

  • good point, firearm safety is important ALL the time, as for the coyote. it was definately sick. they are usualy so shy and skittish. a face to face encounter is uncommon but it does happen. I would love to come down to your area and whack a few good coyotes, is there much public land there. thanks

  • There's about 5,000 acres of public land open to hunting within a 20 minute drive from my house. Come on down!

  • Glad to see you weathered the ordeal unharmed. I have been bitten by a raccoon that was suspected of rabies and had to undergo the shots since we couldn't find it after it bit me. Back then, the shots (20 of them) were given in the abdomen. I wouldn't wish that on ANYONE... well, I could think of one or two. Anyhoo...

As a firearms user with a military background, I'm glad to see someone recognise the importance of background even in defensive shooting. 5 *'s!
