Whoever made The Arrivals, I kind of wish they wouldn't have used this music... I can really see why they did, it's amazing, but it gets kind of tiring with so many people asking for thumbs up and the like, just becouse they found this through The Arrivals. So far I haven't seen a single comment saying "thumbs up if you came here through The Fountain", but I've seen too many such comments refering to the arrivals. If it weren't for The Fountain, the arrivals wouldn't have this sountrack either.

@stravvberry dont judge arrivals if you havent watched it, it was a fascinating documantary about the world we live in and this music was so fitting for it, the music might have well been written for arrivals, thats why lots of people are listening to this because of the arrivals, and truth be told lots of music was written for one thing but heard somewhere else, so however awful you think it might be that this music was in arrivals the rest of us love that this was the soundtrack to arrivals

I do not believe the opinion it had, but that is just opinion. I did not like the way it was edited/formed nor do I think CM is the right choice in music. His music is too emotionally powerfull. Clint Mansel's music is actually telling a story, If you haven't seen the fountain that maybe a bit harder to hear but the compesitions is actually like the story. an incredible and very detailed documentary on the complete truth about the world, who is shaping it , and how we can unplug ourselves to be real human beings. certain groups have tried to take it down many times, but they wont succeed. give it a watch, its not a waste of time.

I wonder if our subjective perception would be different if we had no in fact viewd the arrivals. The music has been tainted by the images and context of subject that the arrivals has attached to the music. If the arrivals had not been created, would the same effect be so just by listening to the music alone? Or has the entire series of the arrivals influenced the music? Very strange phenomenon this is. After watching Smokin' Aces (where Clint Mansell also did the soundtrack), I went and bought most of his music pieces. Never knew where this one was from, but it became one of my favorites.
Then, two years later or so, I stumble across a YouTube trailer for The Fountain, looked it up on IMDb.com and noticed that something happened during the "first snow". So I came to YouTube again to find the scene and this is what I found instead.

Its almost sad to me that people keep comparing this to some documentery called the arivals. I must admit I have not seen it so maybe im being too forward in my opinion in thinking that this music is sooo far above a documentury. But The Fountain was so completely and utterly breathtaking this music written for the fountain complementing it so perfectly that i cant help thinking that its just awfull that some docu used this music

I do not believe the opinion it had, but that is just opinion. I did not like the way it was edited/formed nor do I think CM is the right choice in music. His music is too emotionally powerfull. A docu like this should be more about facts then about touching people. Honestly I felt more indoctrinated after i saw it, then disney penises have ever let me feel.

Clint Mansel's music is actually telling a story, If you haven't seen the fountain that maybe a bit harder to hear but the compesitions is actually like the story. Listen to death is the road to awe, without even knowing the film it captures that sentence from the movie aswell as the road the main character goes through just perfectly.Clint Mansel is such a genius and taking his music out of context is just wrong.

I wonder if our subjective perception would be different if we had no in fact viewd the arrivals. The music has been tainted by the images and context of subject that the arrivals has attached to the music. If the arrivals had not been created, would the same effect be so just by listening to the music alone? Or has the entire series of the arrivals influenced the music? Very strange phenomenon this is. It can be applied to very many instances as well, not just this one.

I loved listening to the Arrivals Series, and yes, this sonlog was made for that series, like the last trump before the Eleventh hour. that's what it reminds me of. But also there is another Equally eye opening series by''' Bryan Kemila'''' his video is also on youtube. All it takes is the desire for Truth, a Keyboard, a Computer, and a Connection to the Matrix. After watching Smokin' Aces (where Clint Mansell also did the soundtrack), I went and bought most of his music pieces. Never knew where this one was from, but it became one of my favorites.
Then, two years later or so, I stumble across a YouTube trailer for The Fountain, looked it up on IMDb.com and noticed that something happened during the "first snow". So I came to YouTube again to find the scene and this is what I found instead.
Finally I can put a label on the music piece.
