Okay to all the guys complaining this is "too hard" or "difficult to understand", maybe you guys should learn the basic basics first.... I mean come on, he's pretty easy to understand.
thank you very, much you don't know how much i love music and your exercise is very good, it stretches my fingers and im doing it with out muting any strings... thank you very much...
when i play the spider on strings 1 and 6 i seem to not be ablle to bend my pinky to the 6th string and then smoothly play the 1st with the ring finger
Terrible explination on the spider. Where exacally on the strings is the FIRST one and the SECOND one? The same goes for all the other numbers. I find myself trying to look closely at your fingers to see exacally which fret you're actually pressing down on. Terrible overall, not very beginner-friendly.
@UnverifiedUser Fifth position, doing a simple google search would tell you that this means your first finger is on the 5th fret. And since all fingers are next to each other that means 5, 6, 7, 8.
I watched you play "right here waiting for you" by richard marx...and i learnt it by watching you except for some parts lolz your fingers went a little too speedy for me to follow hahahaa!

oh.. darn... didnt expect it to be hard already... how will we know if we mastered it already? you didnt say if we try to do it in the faster way and so on...
Fortunately I'm left handed but play in right-handed pos, so I could learn this in 2 minutes. :) It great because it warms up the fingers and improves focus when you start to play :)
Thank you so much, I found it extremely helpful that you pointed out the minimum of finger pressure. It seems to really slow me down when i have to press hard on the strings. I have small hands so I think I mainly need to work on better finger placement. Thanks again for these lessons I'm very excited about them.
You use your thumb for all the bass strings (6=E,5=A,4=D) and for all other strings alternating your index, middle and ring finger. You can also add your pinky finger too, if you feel good with that.
I play acoustic guitar for 8 years. And I really recomend this technique excersises to ALL guitarists. Sometimes this exercises seem boring and you might think that they are not effective, but they are the best you can do to get better! Do them Exactly like Ulli Bögershausen told you. He knows what he talks abou!
@orgminyak He means the fingers. The first is your trigger finger the second is your middle finger, third is your ring finger the fourth is your pinky finger.
any way to develop your hand flexibility? maybe i cracked my knuckles too much but my ring middle and pinky fingers seem to not watn to spread too far apart from eachother.
i'm going to try this exercise though. looks like it promotes better accuracy. thank you ulli!
Ulli Thanks you so so so so Much! your Pupil Sungha and your self are very very inspiring, I thank you a million and if I can become 1/100th of what you guys can do on guitar I will be a very happy man!
You're video is way too interesting! haha pretty cool i might add. but yes, i hope that i see more videos like this ! you have some real interesting topics
Great. I trained it and it works . Check out my channel
