@dark50killer Protein dosn't turn into fat at all, carbs/sugars turn into fat if not burned, having too much protein is simply a waste of protein it just comes out in your urine, your can only use so much protein per kg's of muscle mass you have, so anything over is just wasted via urination, not turning into fat, so if his diet is high in carbs that's what will cause the problem if he stops the exersize.

95-98% of the protein is used as all the other nutrients for the specific goal of building up the muscles, protein that is not being used, is either used as energy (in form of ATP), OR stored as FAT, just like any other nutrient!

@poxalias No that isn't true at all, the atomolic build of protein means it cannot be stored as fat it is then sent through your digestive system out through urine, theres scientific evidence too proove this and although it may not be 100% accurate it certainly isn't false, and the only way protein would ever be used as energy is if the body has consumed nothing else, it will always use fat, carbs, ect before protein, it's like a list.
