This is so very sad. One of my best friends here where I live is gay and I love him and his friend. We are all born and God loves us because he made us. This is a beautiful memory of Matthew Shepard.. He is in God's arms now and no one can ever hurt him again.

I met a new friend in the same building I lived in, who was Gay and one of the friendliest guys you would ever meet! He was leaving a Gay bar at 4pm and had to walk home, when a bunch of guys dragged him into a car, beat him senseless and threw him out of a moving car, where he hit his head on a curb and died!

I met a new friend in the same building I lived in, who was Gay and one of the friendliest guys you would ever meet! He was leaving a Gay bar at 4pm and had to walk home, when a bunch of guys dragged him into a car, beat him senseless and threw him out of a moving car, where he hit his head on a curb and died!

In Chicago, IL on the north side, on Clark Street, which buses only come every thirty minutes. Most people take a Cab that late at night. This happened before the Matthew Shepard story hit the news. There was also, a story I read in the paper about guy who lived in Chicago Heights, Illinois who was beaten to death by his fellow service in a bathroom just for being Gay! His mother didn't seek the death penalty but life for these to men! Who probably will get out early anyway!

it hurts me a lot of these hate crimes that boy, Brandon Teena and all others. It is so stupid to take someone's life by her sex, or any other. He was a human did not deserve it =: / /

As long as people do not try to understand and appreciate all the differences that make up this wonderful world of ours be it differences in beliefs, religion or some other reason such hate crimes will persist. What a shame ... and we call ourselves human beings. Some of the things so called human beings do even animals do not do to their own kind!

Good thing that the hate crime bill is been approved. Matthew Shepard will be remembered as a strong person that will give meaning to everybody that everyone has their own choice, and everyone have to accept its facts.

Matthew Shepard was honestly the greatest person, that I am never going to be able to meet. His story has changed my life so much, I wish I could be more like him. Even though I never knew him, or met him... I do love Matthew Shepard! His life is an inspiration!
