I suffer from Galeophobia which is the irrational persistent fear of sharks. (it's really bad) But when i see footage of bora bora, it's like my fear fades away. We plan on getting married there this coming summer :) though I will not be taking part in the shark feedings, I still can't wait to step into that water, and from the research I've done, shark atacks are not reported in bora bora. Oh I just can't wait!!!

@llycnf keep in mind there are lemon sharks (which grow up to 9ft) and blacktip reef sharks (which grow up to 5 ft.) in the bora bora lagoon and surround reef area. but they are not a threat to humans and there has never been a reported shark attack in bora bora.

i lived there 2 years, a very nice place but i missed cities, there's just a few stores...

if you go there try the bloody mary restaurant, very nice! and shark fidding is unforgetable.ask for mahea's motu as well. and try Tia moana yacht!

Those oceanic white tips love warm pacific waters, and they're known man-eaters. Atleast the sharks in the video shown were black-tips...which are supposed to be less aggressive.
