Hi friend, the song used in the movie Inside Man appears only at the end of the film and it has not been changed and it appears the name of A.R.Rahman in the credits. So, they didn't copy the song, they respect the author. For the other examples you wrote, I don't know the other movies, but if we compare the number of times that Bollywood copy Hollywood (not just in music) and the opposite, we lose and that's make me furious. I'm just saying that we should be original! :)
