we already have robots that build nice buildings.. they're called frontloaders, cranes, and excavators... and they have operators just like robots... but if anyone thinks they can run automated with no operator input thay are crazy... in uotopia where everyone contributes without cash do they really think people will get up at 6 am to operate heavy equipment while others decide to go tan and work later... i doubt it... compensation keeps the system honest so one does not tan while another toils.

Who applies the "scientific method" to society.
To say "the people" apply it is overly simplistic and implausible. Things would have to organize into some form of hierarchy and there would be technocrats of some kind organizing society, not the people.
Humanity is currently not capable of organizing itself spontaneously on its own without guidance from some kind of special planners.
Sometimes I think that not it all because, Fresco (about venus proyect) said that people in future will understand and accept the differences between their cultures & valor systems (and that have to include religions). Look at the current rate at which technology is expanding and developing. The system is free from society and politics simply because no one has even come close to harnessing its inherent power. We are all conditioned to think and behave in certain ways. How exactly depends on the culture in which we are raised. We don't have the production capacity to produce even ONE of these "venus" cities. Even if everyone pitched in enough money to afford one, you most definitely will not be able to produce more than one before instantly triggering the very economic collapse that you're trying to run away from.
We can't just transition from a high technology, monetary system to a high technology, moneyless system. Technology has to be sacrificed for the transition to be smooth enough to keep everyone safe.

Who applies the "scientific method" to society.
To say "the people" apply it is overly simplistic and implausible. Things would have to organize into some form of hierarchy and there would be technocrats of some kind organizing society, not the people.

With a resource based economy everyone can have anything, as opposed to communism, where the government has complete control of what the people have. That's why the Transition stage of the movement is so important; there are currently 4 active projects to keep spreading awareness and even get to the "liberal media" for Mr. Fresco to explain this new social structure; and about the production of technology, there are Teams being formed for specific techonological tasks; people are joining in different teams depending on what each person is interested and have previous knowledge in. Look at the current rate at which technology is expanding and developing. The system is free from society and politics simply because no one has even come close to harnessing its inherent power. If technology becomes the forefront of society, as it will when our monetary system collapses, our society will be, in effect, ever changing, leaving no room for these "elites" to harness it.

Yes I do get discourage sometimes when I talk to people but I don't give up. I keep on trying. I am apart of the zday movement, I teach my kids these concepts and it's amazing how easily the grasp them and able to elaborate on it. (10 and 9) But what I have come to realize some would rather keep living this way or rather die before even attempting a social change. Very sad.

It's hard to reject decades of conditioning. At some point the conditioning becomes near instinctual. We can keep offering the information, but they choose to reject it due to their conditioning. Just keep the information available for anyone, and it will eventually spread to a point of great acceptance. Hopefully, within our lifetime.

As Fresco says, it is often difficult to maintain civility in a society that tries to maintain existing institutions and ideologies because we all have different social values and social needs that are always being updated or altered.

The outdated lies of religion are also a big part of the above. Personally, Im a supporter of Libertarian Communism (nothing to do with the fascist Soviet Union), but I find this whole concept very interesting, it also has a lot of commons with the Communist theory.

Human beings arent born bad, greedy, self centered or killers.
Human beings are born being tabula rasa, their experiences during their life through this corrupted system of competiveness and exploitation is what corrupts people. The outdated idea of nationalism and nation identity is poisoning the human mind, creates hate, anger and fear against the different, and a disgusting feeling of superiority of a nation comparatively with another.

Give people a well functioning society, and they will still seek their own ways. People have potential for good, and the potential for the opposite. Environment does not change that, unfortunately.
It's correct that inheritance and environment plays a big part, but crucially is people's worldview. That's the key to human behavior.

And people can still seek their own ways, in a non competitive society, plus there is no good or bad, there only is good or bad in a given context. Richard Alpert once said in an interview "People don't break their own models of reality enough to reach out a certain realization". Think about it.

Monetary system cannot work without money, this genius guy can't make anything without a little cash. Since he's living in a monetary system, all the work he's doing needs money to fund it but when the beginning of the end comes the whole concept changes and from monetary to resource based economy where scarcity is terminated. What? look dude, If you like this current system then I truly don't have a problem with it. You like to work? Not only in a monetary system people work. With resource based economy, people have to work to live in a resource based economy, the only difference is NO MONEY, NO MONETARY SYSTEM, NO POOR, NO RICH.
And utopia doesn't exist, resource based economy isn't perfection. It's just improved and equal, easy life.

That is because the evolution of our social and intellectual lives depends on doing just that. Hence, we must always be open to questions that may contradict our own perceptions. It is not important that we all agree on everything this system offers but that our social situation as a species can always be greatly improved.

You're right in some points, but this current system will never improve, Rich and poor will always exist.
Without one of them, monetary fails. Seriously It's important we all agree on something to move on, disagreeing only means we are stacked unless someone does something courages then you're probably right.

I agree, the system that we currently abide by will never improve because it is one narrowly fixated on personal monetary gain. In other words, it requires us to constantly compete with ourselves in order to have differential advantage. This is not a "bad" system but simply an outdated one because it currently creates far too much greed, environmental destruction and human exploitation which is why we must let go of it but at the same time, recognize it's place in our social evolution.

Communism needs monetary system, serious people will not have a governor, no law and no PROFIT.
The fear of change is a bad thing, this current economy is at the brink of collapsing. The interest rate is at the highest, well anyway let it sound communist to you, mybe that's how you're just conditioned to think.

Dude, I know you have lots of questions but if you're really interested to know you can check how resource based economy works.
Check the venus project to see how without a government it would work. Currency is always backed up with inflation which makes it have value and scarcity and profit is the main goal.
Anyway check how Resource based economy works, and check the venus project.

Well, I got towo thumbs down for my last remark, but the one piece of information that they are trying to conceal from you is that the Obelisk represents Jupiter/ Zeus and the dome represents Venus/ Isis.
Coincidence that it happens to be called the VENUS project and is full of domes.

Try looking up Venus. The pentagram was for the goddess Venus. Each point represented earth, air, fire, water and idea. It was a symbol for life, happiness etc. It was the Catholics that began the whole demonizing crap because it was a religion that was different then theirs. It has nothing to do with the devil. Try looking stuff up that isn't written by people that believe the same thing and maybe just maybe you will actually learn something accurate.
