  • nice minis, I just got stuff for an empire army (my first army for Warhammer Fantasy)

    but mostly, GREAT SONG!!!!

  • Devlan mud wash would do a world of good for these minis

  • Nice army, but you really should buy some washes :)

  • crap music :S

  • Are these the older statesmen models at 0:29?

  • @Noahandtheark7 aye they are

  • @heppellpot I like these better. The newers ones just don't look right to me. Something about their tights, and the way they look seems...uncomfortable. They look like they would be more liable to waddle to battle, rather than march. But thats just my opinion...

  • @Noahandtheark7 fair play

  • @Noahandtheark7 Blame it all on the codpiece!

  • @Noahandtheark7 agreed the troops from the 90's were better but god they're hard to find enough for an entire

    army

  • i loved playing my empire army when i fielded them for combat

  • You painted them so precisely that they look good even without highlights.

  • games workshop

  • where would be a good plays to buy these figuers ?

  • @yboben miniwargaming would be a good one also. or just a local game club.

  • lool those models are super, wish I could paint like that, uk on painting face's anny tips?

  • basecoat with dwarf flesh

    wash with devlan mud

    apply tallarn flesh miss recesses(cracks)

then highlight with 1:1 mix of tallarn flesh and elf flesh

  • yea may i recomend just use some washes onther wise theese are extremly great looking did u paint the banner by urself?4/5.

  • looks like a transfer for the banner

    yeah he really needs washes

  • I've noticed that the models are very.. flat looking.

Try adding highlights to them to give them a 3 dimensional look, but as of now they look like they get the job done. 4/5.

  • Great for a start. Next time however, try some highlights and even more important some washing, this helps the figures stand out much more. But good job, my first army was empire too ;]

  • Very nice! I'm a Warhammer newbie and I reckon my first army's gonna be empire. So freaking hard to choose... Those models look sweet tho...

  • can anybody give me any advice on how to paint empire banners and what is the banner picture for Aldorf??

  • LOOK IN THE CODEX FOR EMPIRE!!! :)

  • you paint very good but you must put sand and grass on your bases

  • do u know english?

  • i dont really like the new edition models, i prefer these ones, happy i started my empire a few months before the new release :)

your army looks pretty good i might say.

  • My friend loves TYR.

  • WAAGGGHH!!!!

  • For Sigmar!! For Emperor Karl Franz!! For the Empire!!!

  • Empire ftw!! how the FUCK did you paint that flag (the one belonging to the swordsmen)?! :O

  • They Look Good, But my Nurglitch will still Eat em.

  • Great painting! But the bases doesn't look good.:(

  • great painting, but sick off with the music !

  • Nice painting Galpus empire is so cool!

  • wow great painting

  • What paint u used to the skin I have to know it Because it's my birthday in a week and i get a lot of them on my birthday so i will know what u used :) plz.

  • Nice but it couldt be nicer if put flock on them :9 But Niiiiiice

  • 10/10 amazing!

  • nice video

  • How did you make the banner? awsome painting, but you could use a hand of layering. Loved the banner! Skills

  • you can print banners off of the warhammer website. just paint it (or you can color it with some nice color pens if you don't want to paint paper with paint)

then stick it on with pva glue if the model is a plastic one.

  • Dont take this the wrong way at all, your painting is very neat and you have good use of colour, the only thing you need to do it water down your paints a little as it looks like it has been applied rather thickly, also abit of shading would be good. You have food freehand painting as can be seen on your nights, as i said - a bit of inks for shading and some highlighting and these models will look really good. And i mean - REALLY good.

Keep up the good work, if you make these changes plz post.

  • These are relatively old models...aren't they?

  • i dont want to be mean but i really dont like ur painting

  • Quite nicely painted miniatures there, especially the banner ( I can never get those right) and surprisingly appropriate music too, just need to base the Swordsmen and the Priest and your'e ready to roll.

  • Ur right botten they are 18 quid for the swordmen now but they have been re-released.

Do you think this is a good dwarf starting army?: Dwarf thane,

    Dragonslayer,

    8 Miners,

    10 Thunderers,

    12 Warriors

    1 Cannon and 3 Crewmen

with a grudge Pony and the kings Wall(Barricade)For terrain.

  • very good starting point but add in an extra 12 warriors to keep the enemy busy while u get ur special things to nail them

  • nice! :) i want to buy some to but i think they're pretty expensive :(

  • yeah they are a rip off but if you keep your eye open on ebay you can get them for half price or less :)
