there was a guy ho made statistic on that. His daily commute was logged for wind and such. The conclution was wind is a bitch, it takes more speed than it gives back...

Funny thing with cycling is that it can look like a still day, but u can feel the air is hard to push thru...!? Beats me!

Hey I saw a guy this past weekend with a Surly LHT and he was 6'7" which is only a tad shorter than me...have you seen other tall LHT riders?  He had a crazy setup with an extra long steerer tube and at least 6 1" spacers around it! Didn't look safe to me but I'm a newbie so what do I know.
