Ask the people who voted for Nader then and they will tell you that if not for him running they would not have voted at all. I wish people would stop mimicking that same line that was a lie told by the media who is payed for by the corporations that also pay for the 2 parties. Now those Corps. want their pay back with this Bailout crap. Guess who pays? You!
It's the democrats that push that line cause they need a scapegoat to hide the fact that aren't willing to do anything different for this country. It's just their way of distracting their moron supporters who refuse to think for themselves.
Since that "spoiler" lie defies basic logic it says a lot about the collective IQ level of the dems.
Of course there are countless 'what ifs' that go into any election. But there was only ONE what if that Mr. Nader could control in 2000; That *if* he ran for President he would take votes away from Al Gore, and if he took enough votes away from Al Gore then George Bush would become President of the United States.
That is the only if this man could have seriously changed.
All of the other ifs are just him and his supporters making excuses for giving us George W. Bush as President.
One thing Ralph got wrong was, Gore didn't lose Tennessee because of the Democrats. He lost Tennessee, because Tennessee knew the "REAL" Al Gore and hated him and his whole family, except for the hard core, party line Democrats, that is.
The High Noon Report Sept. 10, 2008 Obama -- 82,957, 3 day increase 2,001 Ron Paul -- 53,232, 3 day increase 121 Grandpa McCain -- 18,265, 3 day increase 1, 042 Bob Barr -- 4, 031, 3 day increase 48 Ralph Nader -- 2, 011, 3 day increase 98 I've been busy videotaping Nader at the Vittum Theater in Chicago. It should be up on my YouTube channel VideoNewsService soon. Subscribe to VoteNader08 it's fun, it's free and it matters.
It's so strange that people act like Nader put a gun to the heads of 50,000,000 voters and told them to vote for Bush instead of Gore. Bush won because he had more money (much of it was from special interest groups) and more connections (Katherine Harris, Justices Thomas and Scalia).
great video. i will not vote for the parties that don't care one bit about our Constitution, let alone the welfare of our country and planet.
Nader 2008!
it seems someone is going through and giving negative ratings to the comments. i just rated the ones so far positively, then i hit refresh and the ratings had gone back down.
If you listen to NPR, ask them to provide more coverage for third party candidates because apparently they think they are providing enough coverage to them: npr(dot)org/ombudsman/2008/07/covering_thirdparty_candidates.html
It's clear why the DNC and RNC fear this man, he speaks the truth.
It is scandalous how the corporate media and parties go out of their way to keep the American people ignorant.
Not only is it shameful, but humiliating that we have to beg and beg and beg these public servants to allow a man who is on the ballot, in 45 states right now, to be allowed in the public debates.
in 2000,if Nader was not a canidate i would not have voted. I'm sure many who voted for Nader wouldn't have voted if it was just tweedle dee and tweedle dum.

Democrats and Republicans = THEY the CORPORATIONS
OPEN the DEBATES / Let NADER Debate!!
They block him from debating because they're quite scared!
"Spoiler" is a politically bigoted word used by the opposing
parties to keep the independents out of the race.
