I will always remember his eyes that took my breath away. I'd never seen any eyes sparkle like that. I will always remember the first time he hugged me, and I could have cried with happiness. I'll never forget his laugh that made me stop and stare. I'll always remember how he walked with his hands in his pockets. And those time in my room when I tried to imitate his perfect smile, and how whenever he walked past me, I'd inhale deeply to smell him. He was never mine. But I loved him. Still do <3

my parents spend 36 years together and my father left my mom for another woman after an 8 year affair, which she loved him so muc and was willing to forgive and move forward. I can't imagine the pain, devoting her life to one man and having him deny her the love and respect in return, and she still waits, hoping his love will find it's way back into her heart - no happy endings in life, that's for sure.
