I'm not understanding the issue here, you can assign different areas to touch for different functions. My magic mouse has right click middle click, left click and You can make middle click by using two fingers to click if you want LOL. It's very, very easy. What i hate is the god-damn acceleration curve! If anyone knows how to get rid of it please let me know. THAT will make gaming retarded im sure

For you guys who think it's uncomfortable or ergonomically badly designed, stop humping it with the palm of your hand. It's designed to use with your finger tips. Rest the heel of your hand on the desk, hold it slightly lower than the mid-point with your thumb and your 4th finger and it's a dream to use. I have very large hands and it's most comfortable mouse I've ever used.

You can - but only as a normal mouse. No multi-touch gestures for Windows, unless someone develops a driver for it.

It works the same way as the mighty mouse. There's only one single button. Hard to explain, but you can't/won't-ever be able to left/right click + middle click.

I'd really like to know what new functionality this mouse brings with it.

- 360 scrolling: not so different from autoscrolling (though requires no clicking -- a plus).

- Swipe: seems harder on the fingers than scrolling the wheel and/or using the side back/forward buttons.

- Middle click: not sure how it separates from left/right clicks. Telepathic maybe?

- "Can zoom windows": Ctrl+Scrollwheel zoomed windows for ages. What's so new here?

So I'd say it's a great idea poorly implemented.

Yeah, it's actually pretty useless. Why not just a regular mouse with more than one button? Makes more sense. And you can right & left click at the same time so you can play FPS without getting pissed off ;).
